As well as offering quality dog grooming we also offer a private service to our customers of daycare and home boarding. We also have a small retail shop onsite selling all natural shampoos, conditioners, ear cleaners, conditioning sprays, all natural JR treats, brushes and combs. Qualified

The team is led by Cheryl Boulton a international certified advanced groomer who has also completed OCN and is an award winning groomer with over 20 years experience. There are 2 additional members of staff Kelsey is city and guilds qualified with 3 years experience of working to my high standard at Samco pet spa. Jasmine is our apprentice who has worked with us for 12 months she works under us and will be qualified city and guilds in 12 months time. We are members if ICMG promoting highest standards in grooming and animal care. We are also registered and Licences with Denbighshire council. We are fully insured and have full CCTV and internal locking doors keeping your pets safe at all times. We are also a cage free facility. Our fully equipped grooming center at St Asaph in North Wales offers the best for your pets, Their is a reception area with seating and CCTV. Providing a seperate bathing and preparation area, a separate finishing, and syling area and a individual grooming room for our more nervous anxious pets. We also offer a walk drop in clinic for nail filing, hygiene trims, free consultations, ear plucking, a**l glands,

We have parking outside the building or you can park in the private Samco car park. right over the road we have the Plough for a tasty meal or we have the flower pot cafe just up the road for refreshments and cakes, or we are also very close to the tweed mill. We have over 500 active customers, many come to us through personal recommendation, take a look at our website and and 5* reviews on google and facebook. We are very often open 5 days a week 8am -5pm but often longer and by appointment. You are most welcome to pop in and bring your pet.

We don’t use cheap products, we don’t use cages and we are not a conveyer belt.

We take as long as your dog needs and we call you 15 minutes before they are finished, while they wait for your return they have full access to the rooms including there very own sofa in our main grooming room and have access to a secure garden if they need it while they wait, with. Supply of treats and water.

Distraction techniques used at samco pet spa to give the dogs less stress on things they don’t like, Kinley doesn’t like his feet, as he has arthritis so we work with him using distraction techniques like noise and food and not picking up his feet to help him cope x

We love hand stripping showing the difference of before and after, all that hair were pulling out is dead and stops your dogs from over heating and allows them to generate new coat, did you know that your dogs hair thickness grows depending on there body’s temperature and continues to grow due to the light outside and inside. 🥰
