We are a friendly, fully licenced School of Horsemanship based on a quiet working farm in the beautiful countryside of North Wales, just a mile out of the city of St Asaph. Offering horsemanship training for you and your horse in both ground and ridden skills, including liberty, horse agility and bridless riding, we cater for all abilities from

complete beginners looking to try a relaxed and gentle approach to building a relationship with horses to more advanced students wanting to expand their skills. We run lessons, courses, clinics, play days, demonstrations and horsemanship competitions. Do you and your horse fancy a change of scenery? Then why not bring your horse to my facility for a lesson where you can make use of my large schooling paddocks, smaller liberty pens and agility obstacles.

Welcome to my page

My passion is helping horses and their humans enjoy a relationship that is based on mutual trust and understanding.

You and your horse should enjoy your time together and feel happy and safe in each others company, whatever you are doing. I can help you do that.

Equine psychology and learning theory is at the heart of what I do, coupled with appropriate nutrition and herd management to create a happy, healthy horse that wants to communicate with humans.

Combining positive reinforcement (+R) and minimal aversion negative reinforcement (-R), I specialise in horse behaviour, foundation training, liberty, horse agility and bitless and tackless riding.
