Here at Paws of Par I offer a personalised, professional, one-to-one service for you and your dogs. I am passionate about dogs and have been trained by award winning Master Groomer Eve J Somers at the Abbfabb Academy of Dog Groomer Training. When grooming I DO NOT use restraints, so your dog can relax on the grooming table with no stress and in a calm environment. Instead all drying is done by han

d, ensuring the safety and comfort, of each and every dog in my care. I offer longer appointments for elderly and nervous dogs at no extra cost, allowing me to take the grooming at a more relaxed and steady pace for them. I have a Hydrobath which provides a deep cleansing therapeutic water massage during bathing. Proven to pe*****te the coat getting right to the skin for a cleaner feel as well as helping with blood circulation and relieving tired, aching muscles. It is particularly beneficial for arthritic/elderly dogs. I have an extra low electric grooming table and the hydro bath has a door. So your dog will NEVER have to jump on and off high tables or in and out of the bath. This minimises the risk of injury to your dogs muscles, bones and joints. I can take care of your puppy from their first groom right through to their OAP years. I offer the following services:

Fabulous end to a busy day pampering this gentle girl Tilly. She has really grown in confidence and although she wouldn’t choose to visit the salon, once she is here she is so much more relaxed. Today she got straight in to the bath and enjoyed her hydro massage before snoozing as she was blow dried. Well done Tilly, you are such a special girl ❤️

How gorgeous are Winnie and her little brother Buddy? Buddy enjoyed his first big boy hair cut under the watchful eye of Winnie who had her usual smart trim. Both of them are such characters, Winnie loves to wrestle with the towel and have lots of cuddles and snoozes, Buddy likes to be on the go and gave me a shower too today, he also doesn’t miss a trick. Neither of them had a single knot in their coats either. Love them 😍

I am so proud of darling little Indie who successfully completed his Puppy Package today here at Paws of Par. This gorgeous boy has become so confident and over his visits has learnt that the salon is quite a nice place to be. He has transformed from a “doodle” in to a proper little poodle and has learnt to stand like a pro to be hand scissored and clipped. Today he was lightly hand scissored to give him a bit more shape and I think you will agree he looks very handsome. I’m already looking forward to seeing him next month for his first big boy trim. Indie you are a star ⭐️

Oh my goodness how utterly adorable do Fred and Ruby look after their Paws of Par pampers? They are both such chilled out and gorgeous pups, they just take everything in their strides. I absolutely adore them both and especially love Fred’s cute little teethy grin. For those with children, they definitely bear a strong resemblance to Waffle Doggy perhaps Waffle and sister? 🥰

I am heartbroken to share with you the passing of another member of the Paws of Par family, handsome Mr Biggs. Mr Biggs was such a huge character, that boy was the gentlest and most laid back soul you could ever meet. He loved nothing more than treats, snoozing (and his snoring was something else!) and a walk along the beach, he was a massive fan of a hydro massage and would lick his lips with pleasure as he was massaged. He was also the most stubborn boy, if he didn’t want to come in the salon or get in the bath when I wanted he would just stand there and there was nothing you could do to move him until he was ready, his grooms were always done on Biggsy time! Mr Biggs I know your best friend Yoko is really going to miss you as are your Mummy and Daddy and I want to send them all of my love. Reunited with Harvey and Ellie, I hope you are lying on your little cloud with all the treats you can eat my boy. We will never forget you 🐾🌈

Beau is just the absolute sweetest. He loves cuddles and likes lots of reassurance but will do absolutely anything you ask of him. Such a gorgeous boy ❤️

Vinnie just loves anything to do with his tummy, tummy tickles, tummy massages in the hydro bath, tummy rinsing and best of all his tummy being filled with yummy treats 🤣😍

Look how gorgeous and well behaved this little gentleman Freddie is. He used to get himself a little bit worked up about being left for his groom but now he’s used to it all and very chilled. I think he likes it that I don’t use restraints so he can have a nice lie down to rest his legs whenever he needs to. What a special boy he is ❤️

Super proud of beautiful Brodie this morning! Week 3 of his Puppy Package and he has progressed from being blow dried at floor level because he catching the air from the dryer and bouncing around so much to relaxing on the table whilst being dried at my height! Well done Brodie boy, he was also helping with the brushing too (see comment section for a cute pic or two of him with his brush!!) ❤️

Harper, what can I say!?! This gorgeous little girl used to be very worried about being groomed and the first time she visited she would barely let me trim her!!! Fast forward to bow and after lots of regular visits she has learned that grooming is actually very relaxing. Just look at her, I’m so proud of this gorgeous pup ❤️
