When grooming I DO NOT use restraints, so your dog can relax on the grooming table with no stress and in a calm environment. Instead all drying is done by han
d, ensuring the safety and comfort, of each and every dog in my care. I offer longer appointments for elderly and nervous dogs at no extra cost, allowing me to take the grooming at a more relaxed and steady pace for them. I have a Hydrobath which provides a deep cleansing therapeutic water massage during bathing. Proven to pe*****te the coat getting right to the skin for a cleaner feel as well as helping with blood circulation and relieving tired, aching muscles. It is particularly beneficial for arthritic/elderly dogs. I have an extra low electric grooming table and the hydro bath has a door. So your dog will NEVER have to jump on and off high tables or in and out of the bath. This minimises the risk of injury to your dogs muscles, bones and joints. I can take care of your puppy from their first groom right through to their OAP years. I offer the following services:

Jasper is the most affectionate boy whose tail doesn’t stop wagging. Such a sensitive soul with the gentlest nature. He is also looking super smart after his groom, he’s such a brave lad, a little nervous but with a few cuddles and a bit of reassurance he will let you do anything. An utterly gorgeous boy who was rewarded with some scrummy treats and a play date with his best mate Toby in the garden after his groom 😍
It is with a heavy heart that I share the news that beautiful Oscar crossed the rainbow bridge at the grand old age of 17. The word that best describes Oscar is gentle, he was the gentlest, sweetest boy. He enjoyed the simpler things in life, a nice stroll to the shops, a massage here in the salon, a treat or 4, tummy tickles and a play with his best friend who lived next door. He was extremely laid back, the most chilled out boy you could meet and a real pleasure to groom, you could see how much he enjoyed it. He’s been visiting since the beginning and never went anywhere else, I remember him resembling a wooly mammoth after my maternity leave as he strolled through the gate and his relief after having that haircut 😂. After 17 years of companionship I know his Mummy is going to struggle without his wonderful company and I’m sending her all of my love. I am so heartbroken that there will be no more visits from this gentle boy but what a life he’s had. Oscar thank you for everything darling boy, run free now sweetheart, our hearts are forever filled with your paw prints 🌈❤️🐾

Two little best friends just waiting for a treat for all of their wonderful behaviour. They are both such gentle little souls and love coming in together although Busby sometimes gets jealous of Alfie getting my attention 🤣. Love these handsome chaps ❤️
Aww lovely Lottie. Lottie is 14 and pops over for a comfort groom every 3 months. She struggles on her legs and her bladder is a bit weak since suffering from a stroke last year so, her trousers, tummy and chest are trimmed as short as possible to keep her as fresh and comfortable as we can. Most of her groom is completed whilst she is lying down and although this makes it difficult to trim perfectly Lottie is always happy and relaxed throughout. Grooms like this are more about being calm and feeling clean and fresh than looking perfect. However, I do think Lottie looks absolutely gorgeous in both of her pictures 😍

I am heart broken to share the news that darling Tilly has crossed the rainbow bridge just a few days short of her 15th birthday. Tilly has been visiting me every single month since the day I opened my doors over 10 years ago and the bond we shared was very special. She was a beautiful girl inside and out, her nickname was “silly Tilly” because she was as daft as a brush! She was food mad, even eating the Go Cat out of the cats bowl at home and breaking out of her garden to visit Par Track Cafe!!! She loved tummy tickles, and was the best, most cuddliest girl, always so affectionate and loving, snuggling into my neck when she was being blow dried or putting a paw on my shoulder for cuddles. In her younger years she enjoyed watching our pond on her visits and seeing off the ducks and she was a whirlwind, you couldn’t keep her still!! She was a gentle soul and always looked to her sister for what to do. Over the last year she’s found it tricky being without her sister Daisy, who passed last June. Tilly you were the softest, gentlest and most beautiful girl, I cannot believe you are gone but you didn’t suffer and now you are running through the beaches in the sky with Daisy. Sending my love to your Mummy, Daddy and family who had so many wonderful years with you and who will miss you so very dearly. Thank you Tilly for everything, the salon will never be the same again darling girl 🐾🌈
What a way to end the day, gorgeous Bodie popped over for his very first big boy groom since completing his Puppy Package here! What a star he was, he had a little cry when he first came in but after that he settled and was happy, relaxed and took it all in his stride. As you can see, he looks like he has changed colour now and has lost his sun bleached tips. What a handsome little chap and those eyes 🥰
Wishing my little Bramble a very happy 12th birthday. My little feisty girl might be another year older but she’s still full of sass and is super loving, we adore her 🩷. Thank you Fussy Pups for another fabulous birthday cake for our special girl. I can’t recommend these birthday cakes enough, Bramble got stuck in as soon as the camera clicks stopped 🤣

Bon Voyage to this little sweetheart, Maisy. Her owners are moving out of county and she’s off for adventures in pastures new with them. I’m really going to miss this sensitive little soul, who likes the salon to be very quiet so that she can snooze as she is trimmed and enjoys a little massage too. I wish her and her owners well for their big move and I really hope that our paths will cross again in the future. Little darling Buddy, what a sweetheart he was for his first pamper. His sister is a regular visitor here and is very confident whereas Buddy is a little more shy and reserved so I was very proud of how amazing he was today. He took it all in his stride and enjoyed lots of cuddles along the way too. Such a gorgeous boy, well done Buddy ❤️
Such a lovely end to the week with this gorgeous teddy bear of a dog, Mac. He is honestly the sweetest boy, a model canine in the salon and with the most amazing thick, soft coat, top marks to his Mummy and Daddy for keeping it tangle free too. Mac is just a joy 🥰

Look how gorgeous and well behaved this little gentleman Freddie is. He used to get himself a little bit worked up about being left for his groom but now he’s used to it all and very chilled. I think he likes it that I don’t use restraints so he can have a nice lie down to rest his legs whenever he needs to. What a special boy he is ❤️

Week 3 of his Puppy Package and he has progressed from being blow dried at floor level because he catching the air from the dryer and bouncing around so much to relaxing on the table whilst being dried at my height! Well done Brodie boy, he was also helping with the brushing too (see comment section for a cute pic or two of him with his brush!!) ❤️

Harper, what can I say!?! This gorgeous little girl used to be very worried about being groomed and the first time she visited she would barely let me trim her!!! Fast forward to bow and after lots of regular visits she has learned that grooming is actually very relaxing. Just look at her, I’m so proud of this gorgeous pup ❤️
