Second Hand Book Sale
A selection of paperbacks and hardbacks in fiction and non fiction, including novels, biographies, romance, art, historic, crime thrillers, sporting, cookery and some children's books etc. There might even be some classic tales.
Saturday 11th March 11am to 3pm.
If you're out walking the dog drop in for a browse, we are dog friendly.

The Christmas Fair is on Saturday 7th December from 2pm, with mulled wine and mince pies. It's on the poster. All welcome.

The Afternoon Tea & Bingo players enjoyed their Christmas Party with lots of sandwiches, sausage rolls and christmas cake , sticky toffee cake and hot mince pies, plus mint or chocolate and orange vienneta and jelly, also, Port and lemon or baileys!
Thanks to all the helpers, there was a lot of washing up.

The Lancashire Folk night with Mark Dowding was brilliant. Hot meat sandwiches were served with a choice of sauces and pickles and chips. Thanks to Vicky Griffiths for doing the drinks - at short notice! We think Mark liked the stage we built for him, from straw bales - thanks to Susan Stockley and pallets - thanks to Splendid Pets. Mark played lots of old favourite folk songs and is always good with the banter. Now how do you get straw out of carpet tiles?

A warm sunny day, a cup of tea and a slice of cake. We had a selection of 12 cakes at the CakeFest, a taster of each was available then slices to buy. Cakes included; Coffee with Baileys buttercream frosting, Chocolate orange marmalade cake, Pineapple upside down cake, banana cake with vanilla cream cheese frosting, Green Tea and orange buttercream, scones with strawberry jam and cream, Mincemeat loaf, coffee and walnut, blueberry and lemon, Sticky Toffee cake, Guiness cake and a Lemon Polenta cake.
Thanks to all the helpers and cake bakers.
