Stanley the Manley 🩶
Absolute angel boy, only gets creeped out when I’m doing his nails. I’ve been doing them since he was 16 weeks old so no idea why 😂
The home care maintenance that goes into this incredibly difficult Shihpoo coat is perfection and he never has one knot, tangle or matting.
He is such a well behaved boy and left with a summer 13mm with scissored legs today and his staple round head and snout.
I absolutely love him 🫶🏼
Paisley is an easy going lovely girl who has been with me for almost 4 years. She is a Dog House OG and usually has to go very short as she had the thickest coat that is so difficult to manage.
The past couple of appointments she has had this gorgeous style as her coat has been in beautiful condition. I asked her mum if she’d done anything differently and additional to fish in diet was one thing she mentioned.
It could be something else but I suspect the oil form the fish has definitely improved her skin and coat and this cut is definitely a good look for her 😃
The most exciting thing is building a new workspace from scratch… the most frustrating is putting contingency plans into place when you hit a bump.
But we keep going!
If you cba watching the video, basically: my whole back garden is dug up with building materials EVERYWHERE. Please look the other way when dropping off your dogs 😂 It is a show but speculate to accumulate and all that jazz 🤡
Still aiming for end of April start of May for my new home salon and it has got THE cutest features I can’t wait to show you all, including a GORGEOUS Belfast sink for those teeny babies, puppy intros and nervous souls!
The big shower tray will return so yes, I’ll be accepting new big dogs again (shoulder, back and pre assessment depending)!
I cannot wait to show you the plans in my head when the become real life 😃
Blocked anal glands 💩
💩 If you have a weak stomach, look away now 💩
What are the signs your dog has blocked anal glands?
• scooting (dragging their bum) across the floor
• a nasty, fishy/bleachy smell
• awkward squatting when trying to toilet
• suddenly sitting down
• chewing or trying to chew their rear end
• your dog looking round suddenly at their rear end at any time
If your dog is showing these signs and seems in discomfort, it’s time to ask your groomer are they trained in blocked anal glands, or booking an appointment with the vet.
💡 Top tip; groomers are usually cheaper so spend your money with us 😂
Leaving blocked anal glands can be incredibly painful for your dogs and can lead to further problems such as abscesses, skin infections and internal infections.
Overweight dogs are more prone to blocked anal glands! Try and keep your dog on the lighter side if these seems to be a recurring problem. Also adding fibre to your dogs diet can bulk up their bowel movement to help with pressure, relieving the glands naturally.
I am fully trained in this and offer them as an additional service on a full groom.
Apologies if you were eating but you were warned 😂
Narla 🤍
This sweet girl is just the best! She’s always happy to see me and her appointments are just so much fun.
After all that matting was gone she was zooming round the place and being a nosey cow!
I’ve groomed her for three years and I never tire of her coming in to see me!
Love you girl!
Good morning earthlings! 🫶🏼
December is underway 🤯 😜😂
If you cba watching the video here goes:
1) Please please PLEASE be on time for your appointments. Not early and definitely not late! It messes up my day and other customers appointments also. I will do my very best to stick to schedule.
2) CASH ONLY - this is the rule all year round but I definitely do not have time to be chasing bank transfers or declined cards this month. Also, the app charges me to put through your card.
3) I apologise now that I haven’t done Xmas bags this year, but I want you to know I am EXTREMELY grateful for every single one of you. I just feel that part of my budget for the year could be used to help our brothers and sisters on the streets. I’ll be out with @mroldhallstreet this Xmas day with food and supplies instead. I hope you understand 🫶🏼
I am still collecting for @teardropsuk and want to thank all those that have donated over the past few weeks, it is greatly appreciated by them and me 🩶
Happy Monday gang, December let’s goooo ✂️
Feeling so upset over Dami lately…. life can be so cruel 💔 6 months later and I still sob over him 😭
But SO SO GRATEFUL I have my two babies with me 🐈 🐕🦺
Spoiling them this weekend. You never know the day and they only deserve the absolute best 🥹
Would never have made it through this year without the pair of them 🫶🏼 Snacky, rainy Saturday snuggled up now for us three 😴
Me and the lads do alright on our own ✌🏽
Happy Friday People!
The sun is shining, my truck is now back on the road and able to do over 20mph, I have a roof over my head, a best friend that can solve any problem, my heart is full and it’s the weekend 🫶🏼
#grateful
Puppies!
Puppies!
Yes yes yes (I love grooming them, couldn’t pay me to have one 😂)
It’s almost Xmas and I’m sure a lot of you have already reserved or at least looking for a special furry friend to become part of the family!
Please don’t do your new pup the disservice of not getting them into a decent grooming routine between 12-16 weeks. Even if the breeder tells you otherwise! No they do not need to be clipped/cut/skinned before 6 months but they DO need puppy introductions!
Speak to your local groomer and get a plan in place, it’ll be the best thing you ever do for your pup!
Happy Friday y’all 🫶🏼

Mitzy 🤍 & Cola 🤎
Mitzy 🤍 & Cola 🤎
This time 3 years ago, Cola had been shaved down into a lion cut and it has taken that long for him to become this gorgeous version of himself! I did not recognise him on collection!
Both a joy to groom and have in with beautiful personalities, I look forward to seeing them every appointment 😀
Music 🎶 & Dogs 🐶… living the dream 🫶🏼

I screamed 😂😂😂
Progress not perfection 👌🏽😮💨
Apologies I have been MIA gang but I have had so much going on. Social media has been last on my list but it has been a welcomed break tbh taking a step back from constant posting and scrolling. I’ve really needed it!
YES - I am still a drop off point for @teardropsorguk on Crab Street St Helens. Please give them a follow to see what they are running low on in their stores and donate it to me in lieu of a tip.
Let’s help others in our community who are struggling right now 🥹
The suns out, have a wonderful week gang, Happy Monday 🫶🏼
Bronson the Bully… 🍆
My arms and legs are scratched to bits but I absolutely love this boy 🫶🏼
