Indiana Jones had an impromptu scentwork challenge today! 🐾

Turns out I dropped my phone in our local field!
Indi isn't trained on the scent of my phone, but regardless I gave him my empty hand, said 'Smell'😂 and then said 'Find It'

I have started training him on retrieving the TV remote indoors, so I did say 'Remote' 'Find It' in the hopes of him looking for something similar!

Well, I saw it luckily, but continued to let him search, and when he got to it he sniffed it and I marked (Yes!) and asked for a Down. Then rewarded with his ball.
I purposely dropped it 2 more times on our way back... 2nd time I said 'Phone' 'Find It' and he found it, then picked it up, so I said Down and he laid with his nose on it between his feet.

The 3rd and final time he searched, found it, was about to pick it up but actually stopped himself and laid down!! 🥰🥰 what an awesome dude!!!!

🤩 This is why I LOVE scentwork!! 🤩

🤗 Well I've done it!! 🤗

Just enrolled on the UK Sniffer Dogs Bronze Instructor - Hertfordshire Course at the end of October which I plan to do with little Thea ❤, then booked my place on the OCTOBER SNIFF FEST - 2 DAYS 3 COMPETITIONS the following day to take part in the 'Beat the Sniffers' with my right hand man, Indiana Jones 🐾🥰
I'M SO EXCITED!!!!! 😁😁😁

Unfortunately the signal here in Wales is pretty bad, so I will pick up messages when I can, but I cannot take any appointment bookings until I am back in December.

I am still open and grooming full time! 🐶
However, from Monday 16th I can only offer appointments in your own home. I will no longer be in a Salon.

If you have an appointment booked after October 16th I will be in contact if I haven't already, however fell free to call so we can rearrange :)

Share and spread the word! I am still happy to groom new dogs and take new appointments! 🐶🐶 your dogs will continue to receive a high standard of styling, gentle shampoos, blueberry facials and the one to one attention they deserve 😍 all from the comfort of their own home 😉
