Thank you very much Becky for supplying the delicious homemade treats for my dogs this Christmas 🎄

The proof is in the pudding and Lola gave her biscuits a 10/10. She described them as ‘heaven served in Christmas shaped dog edible baked goods’ and ‘gimme more of them now before I tear the house down again.’

At the dog park, there was Gus, bold and stout,
With his bulldog grin and a powerful snout.
His pals gathered round, a wild canine crew,
Each with a trick or a stunt to debut.

There was Walnut, the Whippet, so sleek and so fast,
And Tony, the Lab, always first and not last—
To dive in the pond, all splashy and wet,
While Gus chewed a ball, thinking of the friends he had met.

Lenny the Staffy brought the ball not to share,
But Gus wouldn’t budge - he just lounged without a care.
“Come on!” they all barked, “Join the fun, lazy Gus!”
So he rolled to his feet and did three push-ups!

The dogs howled with laughter, tails wagging with glee,
As Gus led the charge for a chase round the tree.
At the end of the day, muddy, happy, and loud,
Gus barked, “What a pack! You all make me so proud!”

Gus the British Bulldog 🇬🇧 With his perfect spherical head and happy-go-lucky attitude, Gus is a hit with all the dogs He is also now the resident baker 👨‍🍳 bringing treats for the whole pack (although Gus says he gets more because he made them).

His favourite things to do are:

Play tug of war
Play with the rope
Play with the tyre
Chase the Whippets
Watch the Jeremy Vine show
Slob out on the sofa

His nicknames are Gustopher, Gusset, Gusberry Fool, Gussy, Augustus and Doughball to name a few…

Sun, 17 Nov 2024 20:51:06 GMT - tempers threatened to boil over on Sunday evening as Stitch and Gus battled for the Scooby Doo ball. Despite being good friends, a scramble ensued after Ant pulled the ball from his pocket and kicked it.

The situation resolved itself after Stitch started to daydream about Biscoff spread and forgot what was happening, allowing a happy Gustopher a few quiet seconds chewing the ball in peace.
