A big 🙏Thank you🙏 to Peanut & Pickle (as we know it's a busy time for all suppliers ) and also to the DPD delivery driver who must have been super strong to carry a high tower of heavy boxes in one go to the salon with all the Shampoos & goodies! 💪😊

We've been eagerly awaiting our delivery and ripped open the boxes to dive straight in smelling all the glorious 'all natural fragrances' of the sprays, treatments and shampoos 💕 here are just some of the Festive scents (see photo) with these included in the 🐾🫧𝙁𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙎𝙥𝙖-𝙬 𝙋𝙪𝙥𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙚 🐾🫧 to add onto any December Grooms as of next week!

My fave so far is Sugar Plum Fairy, closely followed by Santa's Grotto... Oh and... Yeh you get the picture - they are ALL devine along with the scrumptious Shampoos, coat treatments and facials that make not only your pooches squeeky clean & soft, but the salon smell absolutely amazing too 💕

I'll be back in the salon on Tuesday for the start of the crazy festive flurry of furries (try saying that after one too many mulled wines) 😂🎄❄️🐾 my week off has absolutely flown by and has been mostly restful and rather lovely 💕🙏

Fireworks are pretty to watch and most people(not everyone) likes the bangs & crackles that accompany the colourful displays - but our Pets and Animals don't feel the same! If the displays were confined to just one night it would be so much more manageable, but they go on for weeks and weeks - out of the 6 furries I have, just 1 is severely affected by the noises of Fireworks, but that's 1 too many 🫣

So many pets bolt and stray at this time of year as they are startled and scared by the noises - Farm Animals sustain severe and sometimes fatal injuries and wildlife are petrified.

Please consider the sound-free alternatives that are available if you're having a home display and power to the people if you DON'T support organised displays that use noisey fireworks.

Please do your bit for the sake of our Pets and Animals 💜🥺 in the least raising awareness that there are alternatives available 🙏

Pupdate : owner has been in touch with Manchester Dogs Home and a family member is potentially helping to get him back home

‼️DOG FOUND NEAR WALKDEN SHOPPING CENTRE 31.10.24 ‼️Last night on my way home I picked up a British Bull Dog (similar to that in the photo) loose on Manchester Road near Walkden Shopping Centre - it was at approx 7:15/7:30pm - I couldn't leave him to roam in fear of him being run over!

Male, entire, wearing a worn fabric red collar.

I had quite an ordeal to try to get the Dog to safety and ended up having to drive to Turnpike House (Salford) and wait for an out of hours person to set up a kennel which was about 9pm by the time I'd been passed from pillar to post!!

Apologies only posting this morning as I didn't get home until gone 10pm and was absolutely shattered, hadn't had any tea etc...

Details & photo will be posted on Salford Dog warden (see link below) when they open this morning, so PLEASE SHARE and let's get him reunited with his owner.

So many of you have been asking after Emily and if she's had baby...

I didn't feel it was my place to 'announce' anything, however I know a few of you have been worried if everything went OK...

The good news is, baby Esme was born on 25th September at 13:10pm, weighing a healthy 7lb 8oz 🍼👶

She's a beautiful, perfect little doll and I know that Emily and Nathan have been wrapped up in the whirlwind of new parenthood and are very much besotted and also super tired too - I'm sure Emily will be grateful that you've been asking after her/baby and in her own time she will post on her page to update you all.

𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗪/𝗖 𝟭𝟲𝗧𝗛 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 it may seem a bit odd talking about Christmas Week🎄in October, however - usually I mention it during Summer Hols 😎!

As almost all of my customers are booked on a reoccurring schedule, bookings are already in the diary for the year and that includes the run up to Christmas.

This year I'm doing things a little differently - Six Christmas's of experience has taught me that it's a wise decision to take 𝗽𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 for those bookings in my busiest week 👍💳💷 ✔️

This is for many reasons and I've spoken to a few of my customers about this decision in person with every single one of you being super supportive and understanding - so thank you very much to those who took time to listen and share thoughts about the small change.

𝗜𝗡 𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗬
Anyone prebooked in with me the week of 16th December (I will be working Monday to Saturday that week) will be contacted for payment at the beginning of December for their appointment.

⚠️If payment is not received within 24 hrs of the request, the allocated space will be offered to the next person on my waiting list 📃🖋️ (so when you receive the prompt, pls action it and make sure you don't lose your appointment ).

As a small business it's not sustainable to lose income by no-shows or last minute cancellations at any time and even more so during the busy festive period.

Im sure all my customers will understand and support me with this decision, but if you think you will struggle at all, pls send me a text or inbox 🙏

I am working a one off Saturday on the 21st December which will be 𝗕𝗔𝗧𝗛 & 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗬 (for regulars) - I literally only have a few spaces left for that day - so if you'd like your Woofer to have a pre-Christmas bath&dry then please text me ASAP to book in for the 21.12.24!
