Fantastic Job Opportunity

Equi+Poise Livery Limited - get paid to train!

We currently have an immediate start position for a full time apprentice. We can organise the training provider, or you can come to us with this already in place.

The Job Role entails mucking out, turning in/out, yard maintenance, grooming etc daily. A chance to exercise the horses for the right candidate either lunging and/or ridden work. Experience preferred but is not essential as training will be given for any tasks given/asked.

We are a friendly, family run yard in the beautiful setting of Tollard Royal. Always busy, so plenty of opportunity to gain a lot of experience and depth of knowledge.

You will also have the option to broaden your interests as we have our own onsite Farrier, our very own new and developing Biomechanics system, and our Competitions side of Equi+Poise.

Teaching availability over the next few weeks is extremely tight. I have got a couple of slots on the 8th (in my pole clinic at Tollard) and 9th, and have one slot on the 11th, but that is it for the first 2 weeks in January, so if you are wanting a session and haven’t already booked in please message me asap!

Individual or pair sessions with small group sessions available upon request. Individual sessions are £35, prices for pairs and group sessions will be given upon request.
Pole work is fantastic for all horses from every discipline, it develops your horse’s core stability and works the top line and improves suppleness by encouraging the horse to step under with the hindleg more.

We are looking for a new member of staff to come and join our friendly team as a yard person. We are looking for someone who is:

Able to work as part of a team, able to work to a high standard whilst being efficient, confident handling a variety of horses, hard working and fun!

The job will include all normal yard duties, a chance to exercise some of the horses, keeping our yard tidy, and the chance to help with shows.

Opportunity to bring your own horse.

I have a new clinic!!
Test and Train, still at Equi+Poise Livery Limited - ride a test listed below, then we will work through the movements to help you reach higher marks next time!
If there is enough interest I will look to run these alongside my pole clinics there, so even if you can’t make this date, pop me a message if you would be interested in future dates!
P.S. I’m a list 5 judge and a BDCC Level 2 coach as well as a Grand Prix rider, so I can see from every angle!😉👀

A few tips and ways to help your horses this weekend with fireworks!

We will be spending the chilly nights wrapped up with all our equine babies to make sure that everyone is happy throughout the evening displays.
