🐴 hardstanding for lorries inc up to 3-4 HGV
🐴 hook up for Lorry’s
🐴 make a very comfy double bed in a log cabin
🐴 a very smart annex one bedroom book has a double bed in lounge and could have a mattress on the floor so I could sleep five
🐴 hot washroom
🐴 floodlight School
🐴 floodlight Walker
🐴 hopefully a solarium by then too

What a beautiful day yesterday so our Broodmare Penny a TB by the stunning Danzig lines who have fabulous dressage paces is now out of maternity leave put on lots of weight as she gave it all to her foal and I think is looking well enough to start pole work, In Hand rope work and light lunging. O my goodness did she enjoy it!!
She won lots and never been normally ridden so hoping for a special Z Concorde foal next year and will get her hacking ready for her 3 rd career …….❤️TB do versatile special horse ❤️🐴

This foal is so gorgeous and the movement he has from father and mother is exceptional plus both parents jump for joy is going to be one for the top lovely temperament well handled I just never really got the photo this year

So lovely to hear that the pairing of rider and horse is coming together so well just seen a beautiful video of PennineView Silver Moon jumping

So special when you see this I loved this mare as she was 4 we did all our pole clinics and went on beach hacks and didn’t push her as she had loads of power and long legs then my back went when she was 5-6 and she had loads of different people who didn’t understand her that much but now she has found her soul mate and sub 30 dressage and flying big jumps leaning sj up Pennineview Silver Concorde you breed some very talented horses 🙏🙏 Caitlyn and team ( I know itxx as not all bed. Easy when she did see 3 fences of electric fence on her first day in the field!

Wish all weeks at the Clarendon Stud office are this productive, and make owners and horsey people this happy 🙌👏👏 (long post warning!!) and now we have 2 more spaces if anyone needs any help with horsey problems 👍
🐴18hh 4 yo handsome Woody is going so well he is staying to bond with his owner get more education with our fabulous facilities and will use our support close by if needed. after Chris waved his magic wand 🪄 🧚 to sort all his issues and make them vanish in less than 2 weeks 🤞🤞
🐴 Josephine a 6 yo TB has been on her first hack in a year this week. 3 in total with no bother and is loving it! A long one with me leading the way and 2 with her amazing owner who has done all the hard foundation wor. Also had a lovely schooling session too including a few little jumps 🎉👏💪🏻😍🐴 she is so intelligent and learns good and bad so fast!! One for the future I’ve always rated her! 🤞🤞
🐴 Mayfly has done a lovely hack and 2 lessons making Amelie and Lawrence very Happy 🙌😁 some friends ponies also joined in and loved the jumps and good grass going in the jump paddock.
🐴 Zaviour has been jumping properly again at 20 yo he is Looking so fit and well is of for his first beach trip tomorrow 🏖️
🐴 Connor sneaked a tiny jump in! And a few 2 time changes in a schooling session. Really think he is feeling better after a few months of bruised feet 😍🐴🥰
🐴 Quartz the horse that everyone should have has been their supporting everyone hacking and giving people confidence and had a fun play jumping and getting fit in the field today ready for Autumn hound exercise
🐴 best of all Spritely came home from the amazing Sofia’s stunning yard via West Wiltshire Equestrian centre and she was unable to compete him, so I jumped on and managed to remember the very long twisty show cross course and came 6 th out of a lot of people 👏👏🐴🤩 he is definitely getting back to form he found it a bit small!! Sadly the season is nearly finished do BS here we come!

None of this is possible without my calm happy team And faithful husband Chris! Sue, Luci,Lucy and the ever supportive Debbie their when most needed 🙏🙏 plus many more helpers, so many namesbut you know who you are farriers vets etc all making this possible .. 🙏🙏

Just came across these photos on this rainy Autumn day of another one of our lovely summer projects for a very special breeder in Yorkshirewhich I haven’t posted about! This client loves the slow desensitisation work and foundations that Chris instilles into all the horses. Fabulous ground work so they really know how to balance and accept the weight of the rider and all things spooky.
this is Kilimazing Parang a beautiful sports horse. how beautiful is he and the light work just developing an even more beautiful body shape.
Every horse is different and this 3 yo has not done a lot apart from travelled to different fields, feet trimmed and wormed so minimal handling and no showing or anything. He was so very kind but not used to questions, the tack was all fairly new experience and he wasn’t happy with the bit so we immediately sorted the dentist and worked him mainly in a rope halter to not upset him any more. the dentist found the wobbliest cap ever and 2 massive wolf teeth!! So having lost 2 weeks of bitting with teeth, but either in other things and with him sensitive to new things we worked slowly and mounting on both sides but after 6 weeks although he had the loveliest mouth as we had done more long reigning than normal and more side saddle sitting he had to go home😢 but luckily home has a couple of amazing horseman there and one perfect light well balanced jockey and she was on him and trotting literally 2 days after arriving home 🙌👏👏🙏🙏
We can only with as fast as the horse but gentle slowly starting with no shocks surprises makes the future better with young horses ❤️🐴

So this totally loaded with no text!! Probably me and FB have a domestic!! I try hard but don’t always get this social media thing!!
To give this some context this is our gorgeous Home bread Pennineview Zenith three-year-old gelding recently sold to Jersey after having five weeks backing before he had to make the journey due to having a wolf tooth and a cat taken out. We really didn’t have long to ride him but he had been really straightforward and simple, thanks to all the Showing with. SD equine this last two years that is just a great education for the young Horses gets them used to bridles, listening to people to trot and walk as requested and just gave a great foundation. So after settling in in Jersey for a few weeks he has done his first show and one and then on a lovely afternoon they thought it was appropriate to have a ride on him and he let this is the first ride in a few weeks since backing so exciting to see our horses in lovely homes. Hope they keep in touch and come back to the UK for a few shows next year.👏👏🙌🍀🍀🍀❤️🐴

A couple of new arrivals making friends and settling in at Clarendon stud this week. After the backed 3yo departed going well.
the beautiful chestnut Quartz for me to get proper fit in autumn hunting , take Lawrence and mayfly out hunting with and for his owner to enjoy when free from work. This week he has enjoyed our good grass and condition cubes a bath clip some lovely hacks a school and a small session in our jump for joy jump
Field all accessing his fitness before whizzing his owner round the Fonthill Hunter Trials today

the near 18hh Woody age 4 stunning ISH/ID finally one the right size to fit Chris 👏👍🙌 is having Chris magic on him to make him more responsive to a lighter touch after losing his mojo with growing up and his light small owner. Already gaining confidence he will be working with Christopher Thompson and his owner in a few more days to name their bond together fully work. ❤️🐴
