What a first month 🥰🥰🥰 how blessed am I !!! With messages coming in hours after launching I have been lucky enough to engage in regular walks, holiday cover and sick day cover 🥰🥰 I live in a beautiful part of the world and get to enjoy it doing what I love best … walking with fur babies 🥰🥰🥰 thank you everyone for all your support 🥰🥰🥰
And of course no farm would be complete without the chickens !! We have had chickens from hatchlings and even had three clutches born on the farm by the amazing Mumma Chook who used to love making her way into the house in the morning to get her treats !!! We currently have 13 chickens and we have had it all!!! I would gladly come do home visits for your chickens whilst you are away !!!
And the boys 💙 Captain America and Troy (no I didn’t name them 🤣) we rescued these boys over three years ago!! They have seen many visitors and love a snuggle in a blanket in the colder months !!!! They were one of the first rescues we took on at the farm !!!
Here come the girls !!!!! Honey and Bumble!! We rescued these beautiful souls in May 2023. They took a little encouraging to explore the world outside their hutch…but havent looked back since. They squeal every time we walk past them in the hope of more treats !!! At first very timid and now run to meet us whenever we r near !! I love the character of Gineau Pigs !! The noises they make, bomb diving into fresh hay, their wee faces !!!! My home services will include a clean out on longer stays so they are all fresh on ur return from holiday !!
Now here is one you wont see everyday !! Frank the Tank!!! A giant African Sulcata , or spur thighed tortoise!! We rescued Frank in October 2022 and he is by far the most fascinating pet we have ever had!! He literally stops people in their tracks as they watch this giant prehistoric beast plod on by!! Frank is mischievous and often tries to “sneak” into the house despite his large warm outdoor dwelling, he prefers the company of others and will often come “running” up when we r out in the garden, sunbathe next to a dog or four and then goes about his business of cutting and eating the grass 🤣🤣 Frank is around 8 years old and already weights around 35kg!! His species can live up to 150 years old and can weigh around 68kg as a fully grown male !!! So ….please no more trying to get in the house Frank!!! As much as I could do with the work out……!!! I wonder if i will ever be asked to do a pet service for one of these magnificent creatures ??!?!?
Now here is a special one…Kiwi our bearded dragon. We took Kiwi in when she was only a few months old…just look at her now at three!!! Her colouring is stunning and those eyes!!! She fascinates all that come here….pets and humans alike !!! She loves watching the world go by and often joins us on her fur lined hot water bottle for a movie or a sunbathe in my she shed….very pampered dragon !!! I cant wait to see others precious cold blooded creatures !!
Mini MiMi….the cat who thinks she is a dog 🤣 We rescued MiMi in Cyprus and brought her home with Tommy. She was a stray cat living in our storm drain completely feral and skin and bone. During our two and a half years out there she tamed herself and moved in!!! She now regularly walks with us over the farm and has used every human and dog she can find as a hot water bottle!! We dont feel used …much 🤣 💕💕 Dont worry !! I wont take ur cats for walks….they can be pampered in the safety of your homes !!!
Ooohhhhh our Rosie Roo, daughter to Daisy and our youngest at 5 months old…..this wee girl loves to “help” with everything, always inquisitive and always by my side. She can still be a little shy but every dog is different and I will gentle spend our time introducing her to everything and everyone to build up be confidence 💕 You can be sure your pets individual needs will be catered for with compassion. 💕💕
Our beautiful beautiful Daisy 💕💕….one of the few non rescues here!! We took Daisy in during lockdown and she has since always been my shadow. A beautiful happy friendly girl, who recently became a mum to 5 !!! The absolute joys we have had with Daisy and her babies!! So now in our care we have had dogs from birth right up to the grand old age of 14 (and going) !!! With breeds big and small. At one time I had a Rottweiler, Rhodesian ridgeback and American bulldog!!! A formidable loyal pack…..but today my pack have somewhat shrunk in size and grown in fluffiness 🤣
Our eldest Kara 💕 We rescued Kara when she was only 8 weeks old….with quite a violent start to her young life she needed lots of love and attention. Over the years Kara has experienced more edventure in her life then most humans !!! Having climbed Snowdon 8 times, Scafelll Pike 3 and Ben Nevis twice she was a great companion in my younger years …she has visited france numerous times, lived with us in Cyprus and is now very much enjoying her retirement years as she is now 14 years old !! This girl has been my rock for a very very long time 💕💕
So who have I had in my care? …..Well mostly my own as this business is brand new but we all have to start from somewhere, right? …..So let me show you my rescue family and the experience I have with the many animals under my care!!!
Meet the mighty Tom Tom!!! Tommy was a rescue from Cyprus we flew home over 4 years ago. He was two when we rescued him making him around 7 years old now. A typical Cyprus special we have no idea what he is other than a smiley handsome chap!! 💙
