Next puppy training and socialisation class is starting next Monday 13th, I have had lots of enquires but still have a couple of spaces left.
For puppies up to 6 months old, accommodations can be made for puppies that don't have their second vaccination at the start of the course.

All puppies up to 6 months old welcome to my next set of puppy classes starting on Monday 13th May at 7pm in Dinton village hall, this course is 6 weeks long and will set you and your puppy up for a long and happy life together.
Puppy socialisation, recall, self control (no biting), loose lead walking, relaxation, sit, down and loads more.

Teens and rescue class this week were learning how to be calm when people enter the house, as teens or rescues settling in it can be a real struggle to get control of their arousal so we need to help them by giving them somewhere to go where they will get attention as long as they are calm.

A couple of weeks ago my puppy class from Melbury Abbas graduated, they were such a lovely class really miss teaching them.

Look at the clever puppy learning the first steps towards a retrieve, with the only equipment I had to hand, a plastic spoon 🤣
Retrieve is such a lovely behaviour to train, it helps protect against resource guarding, exercises your dogs brain, keeps play with your dog continuing because the toy comes back, for dogs that like to retrieve it is also rewarding to just do.

Puppy skills this week were learning all about walking through doorways without pulling.
Also learning a visual duration cue for behaviours that can be a quick pop or you may want your dog to hold for longer, like your hand touch.

Puppy classes- if you have a puppy between 10 weeks to 6 months book your place in my 6 week puppy course and get the foundations for a well behaved and happy dog.
Teens and rescues refresher course- a life skills class for dogs who have zero to expert training, build bonds, get answers and fixes for teen problems, learn what your rescue dog can do and build upon your bond with training that your dog will find fun and you will find useful.
IMDT good dog grades and tricks class- this runs every Saturday morning at 10 am and is open to all. Training is focused on loose lead walking, focus on you, stay, what to do when your dog is distracted.
1:1 sessions- focus on what you want to train, for dogs that may struggle in class, train for struggles that only occur in your home environment, intensive training get results quickly.
