Simon Prout, owner of TOMMIE BEAU, met little Tommy today at Cartmel who is named after his favourite racehorse and watches all his races! 🥰

2 runners for us today up at Cartmel where Katrina Todd will be leading up for owners of both horses Simon & Christine Prout.
First up in the 3.25pm we run TOMMIE BEAU with Micheál Nolan riding.
TOMMIE BEAU needs no introduction whatsoever and with conditions in his favour then he must have a decent chance. He lacks race fitness though so might have to give way to one. CITY DERBY and SECRET TRIX are the two most likely winners for me.

Next up in the 5.05pm, we run MISS FEDORA with Oscar Palmer riding. MISS FEDORA frustrates me so much, she has ability but has her own ideas. Conditions are fine and she will pop up at some point. I won’t be backing her today so she will probably win!
LIGHTENING COMPANY looks the most likely winner - he won last time quite easily and looks the type to go on …

The horses have arrived safely at Cartmel and are settling in to their accommodation for the next 4 days! Their servant, Katrina Todd, is with them to see to their every need! 😅

TOMMIE BEAU, MISS FEDORA and PATH OF STARS left on their long journey up to Cartmel first thing this morning. TOMMIE and MISS F are declared to run tomorrow. 🐴🐴🐴🤞

2 runners for us today at Newton Abbot where Zoe Catherine Louise will be leading up.
First up in the 4.25pm we run VIN ROUGE for owner Mrs Deborah Potter and Sean Houlihan riding.
VIN ROUGE has been running in the flat of late to keep him busy.
Back hurdling now and looks a lovely each way shout with conditions looking favourable. MELTON MOSSY looks good to me and if SASSIFIED gets his act together then he could take this.
Next up in the 5.30pm we run MOUNTAIN BAY for owners Steph Pitt and Clive Dunning, Micheál Nolan rides. If you forgive MOUNTAIN BAYS last run then i don’t think he would be 20/1! So on his previous run he would have a decent each way chance - many ifs and buts with plenty of horses which makes it wide open. 1 runner for us today at Lingfield where Zoe Cook will be leading up.
In the 5.15pm we run BASILETTE for owners Gee Tac Limited and George Downing in the saddle.
BASILETTE should still be fairly competitive off this mark with conditions within range. Each way price has gone now but should be placed at least.
GREY OWL is my idea of the winner in quite a tricky little contest.
All we ask for is that both horse and jockey come back safe and sound with a bit of bus fare home ….. Brett

One runner for us tonight at Kempton Park Racecourse where Zoe Catherine Louise will be leading up.
WILDERNESS runs in the 8.55pm for owners Seamus Mullins Racing Club with George Downing taking the ride.
WILDERNESS has a little ability on the flat but doesn’t seem to show it anywhere except Salisbury! She baffles me at times and runs well when I don’t expect her to. At 50/1 I'll risk a small each way.
Winner looks likely to come from WARMONGER but why ALPINE STROLL is around 20/1 I don’t know..CHERRY COLA must be overpriced too at 33/1!

1 runner for us today up at Catterick Racecourse where Katrina Todd will be leading up. BABY SHAM runs in the 3.25pm for owners Simon & Christine Prout with George Downing taking the ride.
BABY SHAM ran a great race last time over 1m6f and was running on at the death , which bodes well for this extra 2 furlongs. The winner that day has gone on to win again since easily.
BABY SHAM is priced around 12/1 and is one to be interested in each way.
MYBOYMAX looks solid at the weights with conditions in his favour.
MAX OF STARS would be a major contender if she can transform her hurdling form.
That’s the only 2 that take my eye so hopefully i’m right in thinking ours has a good each way chance!

The Legend that is Jarlath is leaving us today after 12 years to go and live with Laura Grant and be re-united with Adrenalin Flight.

Jarlath has won under all codes and also safely taken riders around point to points, finishing in the frame.

We wish them the best of luck and look forward to following his progress. ❤️🐴

WILDERNESS goes to post in the 7.45pm for owners Seamus Mullins Racing Club with George Downing in the saddle.
WILDERNESS ran a good race last time and if she can repeat that feat then she has a good each way chance at a decent price (currently around 40/1 and 4 places with skybet).
Dangers are the bottom 3 in the handicap here, ROAD TO WEMBLEY, THE CRAFTY MOLE & WARMONGER.

BABY SHAM runs in the 8.40pm for owners Simon & Christine Prout with George Downing in the saddle.
BABY SHAM has a small each way squeak at a decent price - i would wait until before the off where she is likely to drift and then go a bit each way with bet365 for 3 or 4 places.
I have the race between GODSEND and FAIR DINKUM. 3rd to them two wouldn’t be a bad effort.

Leading up today will be Jo Savill and Courtney Tubbs.
BERLAIS DU GEORGE ridden by Oscar Palmer for owners The Seamus Mullins Racing Club and MISS FEDORA for owners Simon & Christine Prout ridden by Micheál Nolan.
I remember watching MISS FEDORA run her first race and thought that she would definitely win more races than she already has - she deserves a race of this nature and i think at 25/1 she is worth a small each way. She will pop up at a decent price one day (i know i keep saying this).
BERLAIS DU GEORGE has been running as though a step up in distance would help out - i’ll be watching today though.

3 go to post today for us at Stratford where Katrina Todd and Zoe Catherine Louise will be leading up.
First up in the 3.00pm we run MASONBROOK MEADOW for owners The 69 Racing Team with Micheál Nolan taking the ride.
MASONBROOK MEADOW has been running reasonably well on the flat and would have an each way chance if she was to transfer that to the jumps. She has been pleasing us at home and i think she will show us a bit more to think about after today.
PLAY PRETEND won well on debut and maybe the one to beat and KALKAROO is entitled to finish closer to him this time. MILL STREET was expected to win first time out and ran a pleasing race.
Interesting one for me is BATTLE OF OMDURMAN who is fit from the flat and whose trainer and jockey are amongst the winners of late.
Next up we run TIQUE in the 4.30pm for owner Mrs Heather Royle and Dan Sansom riding.
TIQUE has frustrated me - i can’t believe she hasn’t won over the jumps yet! She drops into Class 5 for the first time today and this is her handicap debut. I have had a little each way as she will pop up at a price at some stage. Not too much as this distance is unknown and the hustle and bustle of a handicap can be quite scary at times! HAMMER DAN won recently and could easily follow up and ABSOLUTELY FINE should be feared.
Finally we run MOUNTAIN BAY in the 5.00pm for owners Steph Pitt and Clive Dunning with Micheal Nolan riding.
MOUNTAIN BAY has to be our best chance of a winner today and at 8/1 looks a rock solid each way bet. It’s not a great race and i quite fancy ours.

One runner for us today at Fontwell where Courtney Tubbs will be leading up. In the 3.18pm we run MISS FEDORA for owners Simon & Christine Prout and Sean Houlihan riding. MISS FEDORA runs under almost identical terms as when she won back in November. Carrying only 3lbs more today she should be competitive.
