We are happy to say that we WILL continue to accept XL bully dogs

We have a new policy to allow us to accommodate this

XL Bully Breeds
If your dog has been “typed” and now requires an Exemption Certificate, the following applies:

We will still be accepting select XL Bully dogs, due to our setup and our policies of not mixing dogs we can safely do so. However, the process of boarding with us will be slightly different.

Firstly, an initial Meet and Greet with the dogs and the owners will be required, as per government requirements the dog will need to be muzzled for this. At this stage we will make an initial assessment of the dog and its owner, looking out for behaviour issues, or anything that may cause concern.

Secondly, if we are satisfied with the meet and greet, we will invite the dog for a trial night, this will be to get an assessment of how the dog behaves in a kennel environment, the dog will be monitored both by the kennel staff during working hours and the kennel cameras out of hours so we can make the best assessment. This will be charged at the normal daily rate

Our insurance will now go up so sadly we will have to introduce an insurance surcharge of £4 per day which will make the daily rate for an XL bully £32 per day

Once we have successfully completed the trial night, we will then allow the dog to board with us for longer periods of time, no more that 12 months should pass between bookings, if 12 months have passed, we would need to start the process again.
If we are not satisfied with any of the above steps, we reserve the right to refuse boarding.

The Kennel prices will be the standard £28.00 Per day per dog plus an Insurance Surcharge of £4.00 Per Day
Your dogs will need to be muzzled when arriving and leaving the kennels, we will take the muzzle off for the dogs stay and pop it back on when they leave.

We will require the dogs Exemption certificate and public liability insurance documents prior to boarding, if this is not available, the dog will be turned away.

Sadly a car has knocked the window out of the kennel reception this evening, it’s all boarded up and the actual kennels are completely undamaged so no need to worry at all! We just wanted to explain the what the damage on the front was about! 🙂

Dear dog owners, we would like all owners to be aware that there is a diarrhoea and vomiting bug going around in Salisbury. We have had significant numbers of dogs with ‘Haemorrhagic gastroenteritis’ over the past week. Many patients have progressed to the state where the have needed hospitalisation, fluids and IV antibiotics.
Clinical signs:
Watery Diarrhoea
Vomiting
Off food
Lethargy

Please monitor your dogs for vomiting or any change in stool consistency, and book in to see us at the early stages if possible so we can treat before hospitalisation is needed.

🚨KENNEL COUGH🚨
Unfortunately we have had a few cases of kennel cough in the kennels, we are following deep cleaning procedures to minimise spread.
We are contacting owners tomorrow who are currently in or due to drop off next week.
we will allow you to cancel your booking with deposits fully refunded if you are due in before the 7th.

The Benebones are out now!!
These bones come off in rice sized shavings rather than chunks and if ingested, pass through with no problems!

Made with real peanuts, pork, fish, and maple wood!

*always supervise your dog with all toys and chews, IF larger pieces do come off, remove the chew from your dog immediately as it is more than likely time to replace!*

Our kennel blocks are nice and cool today with air con and a couple of extra fans!
We have some pools for them to cool off in and some indoor games for the dogs to enjoy without being outside for too long today!
