Max and Millie Whistle Recall
To the human ear you probably can't tell the difference but my dogs are trained to different whistle pitches. This means when they are out together I can work them seperately. Millie doesn't respond to
Max's whistle and vice versa. Dogs are incredible!
Millie - Acme 210.5, Max Acme 211.5

Fun Gundog Level 2. This is Charlie who wasn’t really that bothered about retrieving and would spend more time sniffing about in the grass than collecting dummies. He would sometimes pick up a rabbit dummy if he felt like it but quickly turned his attention back to sniffing.
However…. Something has clicked with this little dog and he has been on fire the last couple of weeks. Today he picked up a flying duck, a puppy disc, a water dummy and at one point was like lightening and picked up one of Hatties dummies before anyone even noticed he had left his spot!
Apart from a dummy swap in this run, his drive and determination is 1000% better and his delivery is very nearly there. Well done Jan! You’ve done wonders with him and it’s soooo lovely to see him excel and love his training 👏
This was some of the activities in the Dog Games class last weekend, lead walking races with a cup of water and earning points for distance sits in a target. So much fun even if Honey’s owner did get a bit wet 😂
Fun Gundog Level 3. This was one of the exercises we did today, everyone stood in a circle and threw a dummy into the middle then sent their dog in to retrieve it. Everyone got the correct dummy and the correct dog back! So proud of you guys 🥰
