Huge thanks to SARA Animal Rescue for allowing us to have a table at their event I today.
We raised £143 for the dogs , Thankyou to all the lovely people we met.

Please come along tomorrow and help us raise some much needed funds to help dogs like Charlie, Tilly and Roxy and also the stray cat we are also rehoming.
It will be a fun class only so it doesn’t matter if you’ve never done it before, just come along for a giggle 🤣

DOGS IN DISTRESS (NE)
This is Milo the Frenchia who recently came to us for rehoming. He is a very sweet boy and brother of Frankie who we recently rehomed. Sadly Milo too has inherited the luxating patella issue and needs surgery as soon as possible.
Fortunately he is now on trial with a view to adopt and all is going very well.
We have had him castrated, fully vaccinated and flea/wormed already but the cost of his knee surgery will be around £1200 as was Frankies.
Many of you know already that we are only a very small rescue so we are struggling with vet costs having already paid for Daisy’s leg surgeries and then Frankies in addition to all the normal neutering and vaccination costs for every dog we rehome. Both Frankie and Milo also had ear infections requiring cleaning under sedation and ear drops afterwards.

We are continuing to fundraise in various ways but if you can help us at all we would be very grateful 🙏🏼

DOGS IN DISTRESS (NORTH EAST) Thanks to everyone who came along to see us at the Bark in the Park event on Saturday, bought tombola tickets and donated we raised a fantastic £160.85 and a good day was had by all (especially one) 🥰

This is the draw for the 50 ticket 4 prize draw. Jenny Laidler did a sterling job of selling the remaining 22 tickets yesterday on the Stall in Saltburn. Winners Afternoon tea for 2 No 31 Mary Clark Cushion and canvas No 32 Maggie Macrame wall hanging No 40 Nigel Prosecco No 35 Kim Many thanks to everyone for taking part and helping to raise a fantastic £150 towards Daisy’s ongoing surgery costs x
