Henry and Rich have been busy in Paw Park One. Tyres added for enrichment and hopefully it'll get rid of that wet spot.
Most of the tyres had been dumped along the road in the woods, Henry collected them up and we have re-purposed them.

Can I politely ask folk not to groom their dogs in the Paw Parks? It is very messy, it's unattractive and it gets picked up on other dog's coats and feet

When it is dark, the Paw Parks will also be dark. They get dark roughly the same time as the rest of the sky.

The time it goes dark, varies according to the time of year.

If you put 'Sunset time' into Google, that'll give you the time it gets dark. 🙂

We've got a strange week this week, for the first time in forever, we've got this week where we have quite a few free slots.

So, if you pop the code 'September' onto the booking form, you'll get the slot for £6.00. You'll be able to use it once, and it expires on the 31st December.

Sibyl is nearly 2yrs old, can take a moment to find her feet but full of spirit
once settled in new company. Suits dogs that can hold their own -
sighthounds / labs / confident spaniels & crossbreeds are a good match.

Sadly, you may be very aware of the police investigation work which is ongoing at Sand Hutton.
There is currently no access to the village via the A64 turn off, as the police are enforcing a full road closure just beyond the entrance to the York Biotech Campus.
Access via Claxton, Upper Helmsley and from the Stamford Bridge direction, are your only routes available. Please adjust your journey time as as necessary to allow your full hour.

Only two bookings today between 10am and 8pm over all three parks, that's great news!
Normally, we are back to back with bookings on a weekend but given the weather, I'm happy to see this!

In case you hadn't noticed, it's very hot.
If you have booked, please check the weather and if you feel you need to cancel or rearrange you can.
For example, if your session is 3pm, you have until 11am to alter your booking on that day.

The Paw Park grass is quite long at the moment, this is intentional as it was starting to look quite sparse in places. The rain and growth will really help it look better.
We are going to cut it in the next few days, ready for the lovely weather that is long overdue!

Just a little reminder to check whether you are booking AM or PM.

We are getting a lot of bookings for 10pm, 11pm etc. and when contacted to check, they were meant to book AM.

We can miss these PM bookings and the person turns up at AM and the field is in use by someone else.

Do you think a 24 hour clock set up might be more helpful, but I know this is confusing to some folk as well?

So, whilst managing to add Stripe (bank account) as a payment method, I managed to remove Paypal! All is resumed You now have the option to either, pop your bank account or your PayPal details in.

Whilst the weather is so very wet, you will find a reduced choice of slots in the Paw Parks.
We cannot control the cars that are driving into the field when it is saturated, so have blocked off large chunks of each day.
Hopefully, when the weather gets better and the land starts to dry out, we will increase the amount of slots that are available.
