As well as our Farewell Clinic we are having a yard clearance sale. Gates open at 09:30 until 18:00.

⭐️Time to say good bye to Spen Moss Farm⭐️

Blake-Frost Equestrian will be closing its stable doors at the end of October.

We would like to thank everyone that’s supported us over the last few years.

But after much thought, lots of head scratching and a few tears the costs far out way the benefits.

We’ve had some fantastic clients, made lots of friends and we wish everyone every success for the future.

A little montage of our gorgeous Roger. It's time for us to find him a new home. Not an easy post to write as he's been part of the Blake Frost team for a couple of years.
Done plenty of preliminary/novice unaffiliated dressage. Unbeaten in BD preliminary. 5th RoR National Championships. Farm rides, jump clinics, arena eventing. Hacks alone/company.
Pretty chilled but an ex-racer so not a total kick along. Perfect at comps. Ridden by loads of people at the yard and loved by everyone.
Full up 15.2 8yo TB, a few lumps and bumps from his racing career. Cribs.
Home definitely more important than price. Message for more info/videos and why you think you need Rog in your life!

Lovely day out at Cockshot Dressage. No records broken but Captain had his first go at the tricky Elementary 6 and did as good as he could for 67%. Such a clever boy.

Ivan gave some of his best ever work at medium. We got plenty of 7s and 8s for his lateral work in trot and canter. Just a few silly spooks and him trying to guess what's coming next in the walk held our scores down a little bit. Lots of positive comments from the judge and over 67% in medium 6. Very happy. 😁😁😁

Top day out at Foxes Competition Centre for . Clever Captain gets the gold star for the best score of the day... 73.8% (such an impressive sheet 😂) in novice and then went on to win elementary with 69.3. Not bad for his 3rd go at this level. Pretty boy Ivan is starting to find his feet at medium with 2 good qualifying scores and 2 wins. Couple of little mistakes keeping him off the magic 70, but it's all starting to feel much easier for him.

So baby Prince has nearly finished his ugly duckling phase and turning into an elegant swan. Just 5 years old and 17hh....(ish). He's going to be an absolute stunner. Any showing people out there? What class/type is he. Im pretty clueless when it comes to showing. He's bred in Ireland to jump but moves like a dream.

Well what a day!!
Somehow, against all odds.....
We came 5th in Elementary Gold Regionals!
Ivan came in from the field with half a front shoe, so we thought that was it, game over.
Thanks to Leon Bentham (superman farrier and magician), puncture repaired and off we went.
Luckily little ginge was on absolute best behaviour and kept us up amongst it with all the very professional professionals.
No.67 with 67%. The clues were there!
2 rosettes from 2 starts with 2 slightly unruly ponies.@ Proud moment here at Blake-Frost Equestrian

Captain the Competitor!
He did as good as he could today in the Novice Gold against the fancy,prancey ponies.
So good one judge had us as their champion! 10th place on 67% in a very close competition. He was such a good boy, let's hope little ginger can try as hard tomorrow. 🤞🙏🤞🙏🤞

You haven't even been to show unless you post about it!
Here's Ivan checking out the competition warming up, not realising he would be beaten by his buddy standing next to him in the trailer!
Clever Captain gets a 70% and prize money in elementary. Very proud of big ginger. Little ginger needs a bit more focus at the regionals this weekend, even if he got good qualifying scores in elementary and medium today!
