"The Livery" at Springbank Farm is located in idyllic countryside near to Sandbach, Cheshire, which is perfect for hacking. We provide a high quality full livery service with facilities including 12 large monarch stables, with wash area and solarium and all year turnout in secure post and rail paddocks. We offer two recently constructed ménages; 50x25 metre outdoor and a 40x20 metre floodlit indoo

r both with Martin Collins surfaces and a viewing gallery. We also care about you....having invested in modern showers, toilets and changing rooms together with a well equipped kitchen with relaxation area (free tea and coffee!) including a flat screen TV. We provide a professional breaking and schooling service, with over 30 years experience at handling and correcting problem horses. In addition we can provide transportation for horses. At Springbank Farm we are continually reinvesting and current projects include a working hunter course, loose school and short farm ride. With 24 hour on-site management and CCTV our aim is to provide the highest standard of care and security for both your horse and you! If you are looking for a professional yard with a friendly atmosphere, a place where your horse is provided with the best care by experienced staff alongside great facilities to use, then please check out what is included in our livery packages below and get in touch for more details😊!

Incase some of you missed our last post we are doing a “Meet the Team” series this week to introduce you to our team 👋🏽 (for those who don’t know our faces already 🙂😆)

Everyone of these members of staff play a huge part in the running of our yard and ensure all the horses are given the best care 🥰. We appreciate them all and couldn’t do what we do without them 🫶🏼

Meet Jess 👋🏽

Jess opened the yard in 2012 when she was just 17, with the help of her father to fund & renovate they turned what was a derelict farm into a livery yard with top facilities. Jess has always been passionate about running a livery that provides top quality facilities alongside the best care for the horses plus great customer service for her clients.

Jess has show jumped internationally up to 1.40 and has trained with some of the best trainers such as former Chef D’equipe of GB young riders team & Montreal Olympian Tony Newbery and Sydney Olympian Carl Edwards. Jess has always loved and been involved with horses, from learning to ride at riding school from the age of 5 on to spending a lot of hours each week for years being trained by Ernie, who taught her how to effectively ride and school on the flat through to showjumping internationally. Over the years Jess has also been head groom on the yard.

“My aim wasn’t to just have a livery yard. It was to build a friendly supportive community where people can come and enjoy their horses with the peace of mind that they are receiving the best care. With the feedback I receive from our clients and the feeling you get when being out and involved on our yard with your horse our fantastic team definitely achieves this”

🌟Meet the team 🌟

Incase some of you missed our last post we are doing a “Meet the Team” series this week to introduce you to our team 👋🏽 (for those who don’t know our faces already 🙂😆)

Everyone of these members of staff play a huge part in the running of our yard and ensure all the horses are given the best care 🥰. We appreciate them all and couldn’t do what we do without them 🫶🏼

Meet Ernie 👋🏽

We first met Ernie 17 years ago after we purchased our first pony Alvo. After being advised that Alvo was the perfect safe first pony to buy we realised that he was actually terrified and a bolter! We were told by many that there was no hope for our pony and he would never be rideable until luckily somebody recommended Ernie. Cutting a long story short, with a sympathetic approach and time, Ernie turned our scared and bolting pony into a pony who was rideable and most importantly trusted humans again!! Over the years Ernie taught Jess to ride and got her and Alvo a 14.1 pony to the level of competing Senior British showjumping around 1.15/1.20.

Ernie schools horses and teaches clients on the yard, carry’s out maintenance keeping the place looking smart and helps out on the yard when required. Living on site Ernie always makes late night checks ensuring the horses are all ok. Anyone who knows Ernie will know that he will help anyone

Ernie has showjumped upto 1.45 internationally, competed british eventing and has now turned his hand to dressage, currently taking our homebred gelding up the levels and at the moment is competing at advanced.

Meet Sam 👋🏽

We first met Sam when she brought her horses here on livery years ago 🐴. Sam is lovely, reliable and you can trust her 100% with your horse!

Sam helps us out on the weekend and has over 30 years experience caring & working with horses 💖

Meet Sophie 👋🏽

Sophie first came to work for us in 2012 when we opened the yard. After working for us for 7 years Soph left due to setting up her own business Theraplating, however we are now super lucky to have her back on the team 🥳🙌🏽

Sophie works for us 5 days a week, however you will most likely find her pottering around doing odd jobs even on her days off. Our liveries would agree that she is dedicated, reliable and always goes above and beyond for all of the horses! She is one of a kind 🫶🏼

Soph has three of her own horses and has 25 years of experience working with horses 🐴

🌟Meet the team 🌟

We are going to do a “Meet the Team” series over this week to introduce you to our team 👋🏽 (for those who don’t know our faces already 🙂😆)

Everyone of these members of staff play a huge part in the running of our yard and ensure all the horses are given the best care 🥰. We appreciate them all and couldn’t do what we do without them 🫶🏼.

First up is our head groom Nicole 💖

Nicole has owned and worked with horses for 35+ years. She is amazing with the horses and it is great to know they are all in reliable hands 👏🏽 always treating them all like they are her own.

Nicole works for us 6 days a week, so she is here most of the time to care for all of your horses needs, she knows them all in and out with all their individual personalities and requirements 🫶🏼

Nicole currently has her own horse on the yard Billie who is an ex-racer, Nicole also loves showing and her dogs 🐴🐶
