Went for a walk along Yaverland beach today and marvelled at a distance the towering cliffs that look very fragile. Then had a coffee in the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary cafe and bought a project bear wrist band to support the rescue £2.50 every little bit helps. After feeding the wild birds lots of bird seed, next to the dinosaur Isle I then went to The Bay Vegan Deli & Coffee House and had a delicious bakewell tart. Wishing everyone a wonderful day.

I was 2 and a half years old and was found wandering around on my own. I was taken to a scary place for a while. On my last day at the pound, a person from a rescue centre rescued me from being put to sleep.
After months of living at the rescue a different lady came and took me for a walk and after our walk I lent into her and looked into her eyes. She sobbed for a while and held me, then we played games and then she left
The next week she came and took me to her home to see how I got on with the cat. I did my best stay and behaved myself just like the rescuer had taught me and the lady became mum, and I had a home.
I only chased the cat once and she scratched me which was not very nice but we learned to tolerate each other.
Mum would give me amazing dinners and we would play games for treats, and we would go on long adventures twice a day where I could roam and play, chasing bunnies, sniffing in the woods, swimming in the sea then coming home to a comfy bed and tummy rubs. I now have a dad who loves me and I save my nose licks for him only. I also have an aunt who knows what I want from the fridge a grandad who gives me good butt scratches, I've trained the neighbours to give me daily treats through the fence.
life is good. It is what you make of it when you are given the chance and my chance was being rescued from being put to sleep at the pound. I became a huge part of my mum and dad's life teaching them all I know. I'm 13 now still living my best life. I actually have my own sofa and it's right by the logburner. I can see out the window and my job is to bark and howl if the door bell goes. I do a great job so mum and dad tell me. Life is good.

De-shed: Bath, brush and tidy.
For double coated breeds such as Collies, Golden Retriever’s, German shepherd’s, Husky’s.
A lot of people ask about having their double coated dog clipped however we strongly advise against it. It is a myth that this will keep your dog cool and can potentially ruin their coat.

Their groom will start off with a warm hydro-bath with a professional de-shed shampoo, the coat is then dried with a high velocity dryer this helps remove the loose fur, along with a good brush out all over, we can tidy the feathers and feet with scissors (if required) clip their nails and clean their ears, followed by a mist of fragrance and your pup is ready.
Now their coat is free from the dead hair the air can now circulate through their coat allowing them to keep cool, this also reduces the amount of moulting at home.

Shaving or trimming the paw pads can affect the dog's ability to grip and navigate different surfaces, which can lead to slips, falls, and injuries. In conclusion, dogs do not need their paw pads shaved or trimmed unless there is a specific medical or grooming reason to do so. For example being prone to matting like poodle crosses. Paw wax can help paws that have been shaved to grip.
