Before we really get into the festive season, I would like to share some exciting news. Hannah Ottley, who many of you have already met, and has been with me since May, is now the owner of Shampoodles! 🙂
I am not quite putting my scissors away just yet and will be working alongside Hannah for a period of time, although shorter hours! My Brain wants to groom but I have hit an age where my body says no, and generally wins the argument lol!
I could not have asked for a better person than Hannah to take over Shampoodles, the salon, clients, & dogs will be very safe in her hands. It has been a pleasure working with her these past months, and I know she is excited in taking the salon forward and has already introduced an online booking system!
Hannah is a skilled professional and I wish her all the success for the coming years.
So, it's not goodbye from me just yet, both Hannah & I look forward to seeing you all soon.😘

Hello!
As I’m sure many of you are aware, our wonderful colleague Zoe has unfortunately had to leave us and have a rest from grooming for a while. This means that we are now looking for a groomer to work alongside us on a self employed basis. With a fast and constantly growing client base, we are looking for someone with experience and confidence to slide right into our small team of groomers. Pay is worked out on a percentage basis per dog.

Thought I would give everyone an update on Shampoodles and to squash rumours the we are closing! We are not closing, we are as busy as ever!

We welcomed Hannah to our team , some of you have already met her. Hannah was trained by Pets at home and recently ran a salon on the mainland.
Unfortunately Zoe has to take a step back from grooming and is spending less time at the salon.

In light of all this we are looking for a self employed groomer to work with us on an hours to suit basis. So if anyone in the dog world knows of any good groomers that would like to spend some hours working at a salon, ask them to message me.

In the mean time I may have to do some jiggling with appointments but as you know I will do my best not to disappoint anyone.
Shampoodles has been in Sandown for 26 years, and it is not going anywhere!🙂

Another year gone, so quick! Another year to once again, thank you for your generosity/gifts, just amazing! The wonderful Terri , from Terris Gift and Cake Pantry, thank you for all the stunning Christmas cakes you have made for us over the years, they always put a big smile on our faces and leave our taste buds tingling!
Most of all I thank you all for your custom, micro's businesses like everyone have been hit hard by Covid, one way or another, without your custom we wouldn't be here.

Sad thoughts go to those that have been lost to us these past 2 years, many have lost loved ones and precious pets, throughout this awful time, including myself, (((((HUGS))))### to you all
Lets hope 2022 brings in a new era, we need one!
