This morning we had to rush our beautiful boy to the vets due to vomiting. He woke me up with the sound that all dog owners know and then vomited probably 15 times in about 30 minutes. He was then dry heaving and shaking and being very clingy to me.
We're currently worried that he has an obstruction in his intestines and he's still at the vets getting X-rays and fluids. We've never had anything like this happen before with any of our dogs and Red has always been very fit and healthy so this is uncharted territory for us.

As you can imagine, my first priority is my boy, however those of you that own pets will know that vet treatment doesn't come cheap and we're looking at a minimum bill of £600 (he is insured but it'll take weeks to claim it back) so if any of you have been thinking about grabbing a breed artwork or personalised portrait please consider purchasing and easing the blow on our bank account 🤦🏻‍♀️

Beautiful Bonnie a Labrador x Newfoundland crossed the rainbow bridge in July at 12 years old. Her owners tell me that she was a gentle giant, who had a passion for shoes and covering people head to toe in her hair.
Bonnie was never unhappy and loved everyone she met, especially children and despite her size, would lay down patiently to wait for children to come to her.
In the last few years of her life, Bonnie worked as a therapy dog in a local children's Cancer centre and would run to the door and wait rather impatiently as soon as her work harness came out of the cupboard.
Bonnie was a true treasure and a once in a lifetime dog, who has left a huge hole in the lives of everyone who knew and loved her. She is succeeded by her brother Mickey, who she had begun to teach the ropes of being a therapy dog to and who continues her legacy with the children's Cancer centre.
Thank you for being you Bonnie and your parents can't wait to see you again one day.

This beautiful girlie is Pippa. She crossed the rainbow bridge after a freak accident left her paralysed at just 8 years old. Pippa was a phenomenal gundog, often retrieving birds twice her size and had such a love for her work that she'd jump into her Dad's arms as soon as he put his gear on.
Pip was a well loved pet as well and in her puppyhood was a prolific stock thief! She was a gentle soul who loved her Dad more than anything and was taken over that rainbow bridge far too soon ❤️

This is Marley, he’s about 18 months old and is a rescue dog from Spain. He was found at 4 weeks old with his brother Aaron on the streets and was brought over to a foster home earlier this year.
This guy is a huge goofball, still a big puppy he loves nothing more than running around the garden chasing his brothers and is a big foodie. He is very happy in his forever home and is still giving everyone the run around.

This is Red, he is 3.5 years old and is a fox Red Labrador. He’s been my best friend since he was 9 weeks old and is the most loving and gentle soul.
