It saddens me to write this but I have unfortunately had too many clients recently cancel their appointments with hours notice or customers just not turning up at all and whilst being a small business this has a detrimental effect on my income as I am unable to fill grooming slots with little notice. I do have a cancellation policy and although I have been really lenient with this in the past I can’t anymore. If you are to cancel your appointment within 24 hours or not show up you will be charged for the full price of your dogs groom. Which is common procedure for all 1-2-1 groomers as we provide a different service compared to a high volume salon. I will also now be putting in place that I will require a 50% deposit for all new customers for their first appointment as it seems a big percentage of no show cases comes from new bookings. I don’t like writing these and I hope you can understand the reasoning behind this message 🐾

BEAU! 🌟

What an absolute sweetheart! This was Beau’s first groom with me and she was such a calm and gentle girl. During her groom I managed to deshed an incredible amount of hair from her which will make her feel so much better in this heat. See you in six weeks Beau 😍

A question that I often get asked. Whilst some groomers may still be fine with grooming your dog whilst in heat. I personally will not groom your dog in season for the following reasons:
Your dog’s welfare and grooming experience is my top priority. A dog goes through massive hormonal changes whilst is season and this can put a negative impact on their grooming experience.
Different areas of their body become more swollen and sensitive.
They also let off a different scent that can make it distractive and stressful for any other dog that comes in following their appointment.
Dogs are generally very good at cleaning themselves whilst in season.

MARGO 🌟
This beautiful girl hasn’t had it easy. She has had both of her eyes removed and she is slightly deaf but this doesn’t stop her living a full and happy life. Today was her second groom with me and already she has settled into the grooming process so well with lots of cuddles and positive reassurance. I mean look at her smile 🥹

Poppy!
Would you believe me if I told you Poppy is only 5 months old! She is huge and these pictures really don’t show how big she actually is. Poppy is a Bouvier des Flandres in which the breed originated from Belgium and is used for herding. I am incredibly lucky to groom this beautiful girl as they are unfortunately not that common within this area. I cannot wait to see Poppy again and to give her her first haircut 😊

Bonnie!
This little girl had her first big girl hair cut today and done amazing!! Her owners had done a brilliant job up until me looking after her coat but it was time to make it a bit more manageable. Bonnie was a superstar for being so young but she regularly comes in for her groom so has got used to the environment and is really happy when she’s in the salon.

PERCI 🌟
I had the absolute pleasure of grooming this young lady. She had previously been going to a high volume salon but it’s clear that she’s much prefers the peace and quiet of a 1-2-1 environment. Her parents like to keep her longer and Ali though she was nervous for the bath and dryer she stood like an angel for her groom! Until next time Perci 🐾

BONNIE 🧡

This little girl enjoyed her last puppy groom today. I can’t believe how quick they grow 🥹 she has done amazing and is so confident with the grooming process. She will be ready for her big girl hair cut in the next couple of months!

Rubbing your dog with a towel can 100% encourage matting of the hair! Best advice is to scrunch the hair dry or to use a high quality dog drying towel.

Bella 🌟
I just cannot deal with this little girls cuteness. She is 5 months old now and her coat is around 3 inches long and in beautiful condition! She is such a good girl to groom for such a young dog and this is all down to being groomed regularly at home aswell as coming into the salon every 4 weeks for her puppy groom.
