I got to do a follow up with Max today - He has made amazing progress .... today we tightened up on the car and his Loose Lead Walking... and a big part of today was his "stickiness" ... this is where his emotional processing causes him to stop (some people think its stubbornness but its not as dogs believe it or not cannot be stubborn ) they just get stuck so we built in protocols to help unstick him and enable him to move forward.

This stickiness comes in in multiple scenarios so it was great watching him work through it 💪💪💪💪❤️

Here's Nyla on her first attempt at not pulling .... We have much work to do but this is a great start ....

interestingly she was in a harness - apparently harnesses cause pulling but luckily I was able to swim upstream and teach her to walk nicely in the same harness... 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I got to meet the very beautiful Nyla tonight- a 7 month old Presa Canario who .. let's say pulls like a trooper, Struggles with visitors especially new people.

Couple that with adolescence, secondary fear periods and hitting her season ... my word !!!

But what a great video coming up that really highlights that even taking a dog that pulls in a harness can be taught to not pull in a harness 🤷🤷🤷

We got to work with the stunningly handsome Basil a 7 month old Dachshund.... at the start of adolescence and with fear periods kicking in getting has some struggles with visitors and triggers outside.

Today he learnt the door protocol and he even walked calmly past the school crossing lady who he normally barks at !!

Great Job Basil 💪💯

Out for a follow up with this fine group of Dachshunds!!

Anyone with a multi dog household knows the challenges - you calm.one down another starts etc etc

So to say I am over the moon with progress in just.2 small weeks ... I was able to get inside the house on arrival in less than 3 minutes with all barking stopped... on the second attempt a little later it took just a minute 👏👏👏👏👏

Still.so much work to do ... we are going out and about next time to expand their world and see if we can reduce external triggers.

Its Monday morning and we are back out helping dogs !!
