Here is a short snippet of progress with Pongo ... we are working on "permission. to Proceed" ..... here I'm using a jump up (not always recommended but this worked well for Pongo) and he even pops his paw in my hand - so I progress with short stints if he shows any mild appeasement or displacement activities we stop, move off reset and see if HE wants to reengage !!!
Small steps but Massive Progress ... Last time he would not let me touch him at all and would have gone to control my hand should I have tried.

Working with Sonny who is fearful of roads -- he will often freeze at the front door and refuse to move.
One benefit of a long driveway is we can safely use free shaping in the main along with the game we played in the house and garden (give in to lead pressure)
Here you can see with give Sonny the choice and even when he heads back up the driveway he reaches the end of the lead and turns back too us - this allows his brain to understand nothing scary is happening and there is no pressure... a great first session. .... we will swap back to the short lead so we teach him on that before traversing further.!!!

Are you struggling with Loose Lead walking - here's one little tip and strategy that might help you.
Also do not be shamed by so called trainers on Social Media blaming the harness- This just highlights their own failings and lack of ability. Flat collar and harnesses are a simple bread and butter piece of equipment that ANY trainer should be able to work with 💪💪💪 end of 💪💪💪

She has walked away from her home and watched a car arrive and park at the side of us 🤦 they are just about getting ready to head off so we get Elsa ready ... in a lot of cases I would not suggest being static but for Elsa if we were moving towards the car shecwould freak out so we go in stages .... now here we waited for her to see the car move off and then get the reward in - yes she did go down to the ground but I will take that all day long FOR NOW as it is way safer than lunging and dragging her mum into the car .... we will change the criteria over time in line with her comfort levels !!
Go Elsa !! This would not have been possible a few weeks ago !!
