Only a few short months ago , cassie here would have been barking lunging, squealing and generally creating havoc in the vet practice.
Today you can see the progress that we have made now. She did really well today. Because she gets agitated in the car, so there was the car journey down to the vets. Then there's also the fact as soon as she got straight out of the car, a dog immediately walked past the car park, and we had to handle that situation. And then, as we walked down to the vet practice door a Bus was turning around the corner. Another thing that would have normally freak Cassie out. So we got her into the vets, and we got her vaccinations, along with a health check done, and we got her Weighed., and we even managed to do this little bit at the end where we got the vet receptionist to just be able to be Walk her up-and-down and we did this with the vet as well to walk her up-and-down, take her away from mum and dad and bring her back, take away mum and bring it back. This would not have been possible. Those few short months ago, she just would not have been able to cope with it. I'm really proud of what the owners have achieved, and really proud of what Cassie has managed today. Yep, we still got work to do. Is she perfect? No, she's not, but to be able to get into the vet. Have the vaccinations done without all that trauma that is amazing. So I'm super proud of everyone concerned and a big hats off to the vets as well for allowing us and the timing of this, to make sure we can come in and give Cassie the best possible chance of success. So Ashfield house Vets Spondon Well done - absolutely brilliant thank you.
