An emergency contact number will be required from you prior to the sitting - please note, you will not be contacted in any way while you're away
unless a police or medical emergency has occurred involving your property or pet/s. I will agree a time for a visit/walk to take place and will try to stick to this time. However these times will always be approximate and subject to change for many reasons, such as weather, road works, traffic and issues that may arise at earlier jobs. In extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain) I reserve the right to cut walks short for the health, safety and comfort of your pets. Remaining time will be spent playing at home. Additional charges may apply on bank holidays and religious holidays (Christmas/Easter)
For dogs that pull on the lead I use Halti style headcollars
An additional payment per day will be added to Pet / House Sitting services if the location is outside of the Saxmundham area. This means I can cover all areas but with an additional charge for the fuel and time used. All food / medication / water / bedding is to be provided by the animals owner unless agreed otherwise prior to the sitting. If I have been given key/s to your property, they will either be on my person or locked in my cash box when not needed. On the last day of the sitting, the key/s will be left in your home with a copy of the final invoice plus any post which has been delivered while you were away. Staying overnight in your property will be restricted to a maximum of 14 nights - I cover holidays / short term breaks only. If you want to discuss a longer term, please contact me
Cancellations on the same day will be charged at 50% of the full rate (please try to let me know the night before if I am not needed the following day). If I attend a job and my services are no longer required the full amount will be charged.
