📢 We're Hiring – Part-Time Admin Assistant (with Ad Hoc Nursing Support)
Location: Alma Veterinary Surgery, Scarborough
Hours: Part-Time (Monday & Tuesday 0900 - 1800 + every 3rd Saturday Morning 0830 - 1300. Must also be able to cover additional hours for holiday leave.

Are you passionate about animals and looking to join a close-knit, supportive team in a busy and established veterinary practice?

Alma Veterinary Surgery, located in the heart of Scarborough, is looking for a Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our friendly team. While this is primarily an admin-based role, there will also be occasional opportunities to assist our veterinary team with basic nursing support duties as needed.

Your Key Responsibilities:
• Answering telephone calls and handling client enquiries
• Booking and managing appointments
• Taking and relaying messages accurately
• Providing occasional support to the veterinary team
• Cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic and welcoming environment
• Keyholder responsibilities, including opening/closing the premises

What We’re Looking For:
• A friendly, reliable individual who can integrate seamlessly into a small, well-established team
• Someone who is equally comfortable working independently and using their own initiative
• A strong communicator with a calm and professional manner
• No prior experience required – just a genuine passion for animal care and a solid work ethic
