Unfortunately we are sad to be posting this again.
We don’t really understand what is going on but people really need to stop being so rude.We understand that we are living in hard times & everything is really expensive but it is not the fault of our staff. They have to abide by rules set by our governing bodies & believe me if we could just hand out medication just like that we would, we do not like being abused & shouted at & will now be enforcing a zero tolerance policy & will be actively removing from our list those who display rude, abusive behaviour.

Introducing Murphy as March's Super Pet Of The Month.

3 year old Spaniel Murphy recently decided, much to his owners despair, he would eat a sewing needle.

Luckily, after an operation & a night with Alma; he was happy & bright, completely unfazed from his sharp snack.

Murphy was back for a check-up today and it was lovely to sneak in some cuddles with him.

Unfortunately a number of people seem to be becoming increasingly rude to our nurse and reception staff, especially if the appointments are running late. It is not the fault of the reception or nursing team it is often because a very sick animal is taking abit longer than usual.

Imagine this is your animal, wouldn’t you want time taken over him/,her?

This unpleasant behaviour will not be tolerated the nursing and receptionist are doing a difficult job and are doing the best for you and your animals.

Most people I might add are understanding and accept and appreciate being told there is a delay, so thank you to our kind clients for making a stressful job less difficult.

Many thanks
The nursing and reception team

Introducing Sydni as February's Super Pet Of The Month.

After always being a healthy boy, back in October he disappeared and was missing for 17 days, his owners frantic, contacted by a member of the public who had seen his missing poster. He was sat out in torrential rain, freezing when rushed into Alma, with several injuries.
He had operations to partially amputate his tail, remove his ruptured eye and multiple teeth. His determination and his dedicated owners meant he is now back home enjoying the life he should be snoozing and dreaming about all he has been through at the grand age of 20!! What a trooper ♡

☆ A new feature coming to Alma Vets page.☆

I'd like to introduce Han as our first Super Pet Of The Month.

Han's story - Han was rushed into us at the beginning of December by a member of the public. He had been found under a hedge with severe facial injuries. He has spent the last month having multiple procedures to fix these issues. Although sadly he has lost sight in one of his eyes, he has made a remarkable recovery & we are pleased to have him back home where he belongs and ready to take on the world once more.
