Bruno has been back in foster in Southport for 5 weeks now and has settled so well.

He is looking for his forever home and he really is the most delightful boy. He has the best personality that just makes you love him so much.

He has a great zest for life, loves his toys, loves his walks, loves his food and most importantly he loves his humans

Please consider this boy in your life as he's had a turbulent few years through no fault of his own.

He needs a home with people around some of the day as he likes company. He would be better suited as an only pet but could potentially live with an older chilled out dog as he is currently in foster with dogs and is doing well.

He is quite bouncy and has lots of energy/enthusiasm for walks so we feel an active adult only home would suit him best. He does also love a snuggle in his bed and does settle well after he's had his walks.

Bruno is currently in the Southport area and will need a few meet and greets before being adopted.

Any questions please ask 🐶

It looks like they are closing the road across the Moss today, between us and Southport, if you are coming that way allow a little extra time as you will have to come via Kew roundabout (if you really like to avoid Kew roundabout you can get her via New Cut Lane and come in via Shirdley Hill). Thank you

We have just done the field check. I am pleased to say that the field is drying up!!! I'm not saying that it is dry, but it is a lot dryer. The daffodils are coming out and the nights are getting lighter. The 5pm-6pm slot is now possible without a torch. We have done it, I feel, survived another winter. Thank you for all that have brought your bonkers dogs who don't care about the mud, but are not keen on the bath!
Thank you so much, it is lovely to see the dogs running about carefree.

B field is now back open. We have fixed the fence this morning. We still haven't heard from the driver of the car but it was a young man who had picked his brother up from school apparently. The man that he nearly hit, who was walking his dog down the footpath when it happened, has told us. We would have appreciated a "sorry," very, very lucky no one was hurt.

A car has gone through the fence at the bottom of "B" field. Consequently the fence at that point is not secure so "B" field is now out of action until the car can be removed and the fence repaired. I hope the driver is OK (there is no blood), they would have had an awful shock, however they have not informed us yet, we think it happened after 4pm this evening. "A" field is unaffected, although it is struggling with the wet. The fence in "B" field will not be repaired until Thursday- and that is if the car is removed by then, it must be 8 foot lower than the road. I've reported it to the police, I just hope the driver is OK and does the decent thing.
I have messaged everyone that has currently booked before Friday in case they would like to cancel but if you were thinking of booking remember that you will only have "A" field. Thank you

Otto wondered why all the seagulls were on his field! You look well wrapped up Otto. Hope you had a lovely time.

With rain following the snow the fields are very wet. Come prepared in your wellies and bring a dog towel!

Today marks the most heartbreaking anniversary, a year since the XL bully ban. We could say so much about the suffering, loss and pain that breed specific legislation has brought to so many innocent dogs and owners over the past year, but for now we must focus on important next steps. EXEMPTED DOG OWNERS, PLEASE DO NOT ASSUME YOUR THIRD PARTY LIABILITY INSURANCE WILL RENEW AUTOMATICALLY - this may or may not be the case, depending on the type of membership you selected when joining Dogs Trust Companion Club. PLEASE CHECK your renewal date and renewal method CAREFULLY. Direct debits should renew automatically, but only if you have available funds on the relevant date AND if you selected an annual membership rather than a one-off payment at the time when you took out your membership. Please refer to the information on the Dogs Trust website regarding insurance and membership. THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT AND WILL AFFECT A LOT OF DOGS AND OWNERS WHO TOOK OUT INSURANCE DURING THE EXEMPTION PERIOD THIS TIME LAST YEAR, please do not get this wrong and allow your insurance to lapse. KEEP YOUR DOG SAFE. https://www.dogstrust.org.uk/support-us/companion-club/renewals
