Another frosty morning here at the Head. It may not be perfect course set up for weekend golf but it was certainly beautiful at 7:30 this morning.
Not a bad site to work on most of the time.

Another great video from England Golf explaining the reasons and importance of different cuts and areas of rough left on the golf course.
Sometimes you have to change the way you play rather then trying to change the the course to suit your game (Much like the tee blocks positions and cup rings....... 😉

The par 3 10th here at Seaford Head is a lovely hole named The "Drop". A Short but tricky hole to play depending on the wind. Best to play to the right of the green due to the slope.

Did you know each hole at the Head has a name?
The feature hole today.....
8th- The "Steps"
An attractive hole, tempting the long hitter. Shot to the greens needs to be played on the right of the green because in playing short the bank at the bank right will gather balls better.
How many have reached the green in one? How many have landed in the middle of the 7th trying?

If you have visited Seaford Head Golf Course in the last few weeks you would have noticed spring has really started to spring here at the Head. But it's not all stripes and turf. The green winged orchards, blossoms, bluebells, Gorse Flowering, Bees Swarming and may other wildflowers and grasses are bursting into life. We were lucky today to be visited by to capture spring in action. He has provided a small collage of just a small sample some of what was captured today.

A good start to the 17th tee today. Stripped, rotavated, levelled, firmed, level, firm repeat. Final steps tomorrow morning before re-laying. (Oh and perhaps a pop up to replace after the turf cutter found it)

Amazing few days work from the team while the boss is off. Stripped, rotavate, level firm, level firm, level firm, screed firm, lay turf all while dodging the rain. 12th tee nearly complete. Onto the next on Monday.
