A bit about me
With the ever increasing demands on your time for work, holidays and family life, my aim is to help you worry less about your pet while you can’t be there. I have owned dogs and horses all of my life. I am a dedicated animal lover that will treat your pet with the same amount of love and care as i do my own. I completely understand how important your pets are to you and their safety whist in my care is paramount, which is why i am fully insured through Protectivity and KBIS. I am a British Groom Association certified freelancer, I have over 30 years experience in horse care & riding and i also have my BHS stage 1. I am DBS/CRB checked & cleared, I have certificates in dog first aid, including dog CPR, Choking and Drowning and I also have a level 3 diploma in dog walking and pet sitting. I have recently undertook courses in COVID-19 Prevention as we can’t be to careful when it comes to disease prevention.
Having worked for Benton Cat and dog shelter for 3 years a while ago, and working in a riding school and a on racing yard in the past, Ive always felt that i would once again love to work with dogs & horses at some point in the future, and after much consideration, and after a long career in web design and SEO, i decided that dog walking and offering equine livery services would be the best way forward for me to do something i love every day, while providing a much needed service to people and their dogs & horses. No one should ever feel that they have to give up their dog because they have to work extra hours, different shifts, family life or your health changes, Tracks and Trails can be there for your pet when you can’t be. If you can’t walk your dog or see to your horse due to any reason, i can do it for you. Short term or long term, I can find a plan to suit you and your best friend. If you’re finding it hard to manage the day to day care around your work shifts etc, i will be able to help.
I have a genuine love for all animals, especially dogs & horses and i completely understand the feeling of guilt when we have to go to work each day and just hope that poor pooch isn’t too bored and can keep his legs crossed until we return, or your horse isn’t stood in his stable to long if you haven’t been able to get up to the yard to turn him out. This is where i can help you manage your pets daily needs, while giving you piece of mind that he’s in safe hands.
Your dog can be walked individually or in a group of 3 depending on how sociable he is . Your dog does need to be up to date with vaccinations and must not display signs of aggression towards other dogs or he will need to have solo walks. Your dog will always be walked on a lead unless off lead is preferred and agreed with you beforehand.
