It takes quite a bit of effort to keep the field looking as it does. This morning Rich and I picked up most of the sticks and branches brought down by the trees being pruned earlier in the week and the ones brought down over winter. This is so that when we start cutting grass again they don’t damage the mowers. The last of the leaves were picked up and I had a little prune of the Cherry Trees.

The field is generally fully booked most weekends now and is busier through the weeks too (thank you 🙏). You used to be able to book on the same day and get a slot (I quite liked that) however if you leave it too late on a Saturday or Sunday the only appointments you’ll get will be in the dark.

We just wanted to give you a heads up if you know you want to come at the weekend book in the week before to avoid disappointment.

In the field early this morning to fill up the water. There is something very calming about being in the field in the dark. Rich has a lovely headlight thing that I pinch that means I can see where I’m going and where Hamish has 💩.

Stunning sunrise in the field this morning.

For daylight appointments this week sunrise starts from 7.40am and it is still daylight upto 4.30pm.

Lifes Conundrums- How come dogs p*e on any and every available surface, post and equipment in the field (we don’t mind) but absolutely no dogs have p*e’d on the snowman?? 🤣🤣🤣

Going away and leaving family/friends in charge of your pups?

Why not make life easy for them and book a few slots in the dog field while you're away? You can simply book the slots ahead of time and know your pup will be getting plenty of exercise without worrying about lead etiquette and training etc. Make sure to pop in your email as well as your dog sitters email into the booking form so they will receive the code to the field before their slot.

Neutral Ground - Why Our Field Is The Perfect Place to Introduce Dogs 🐶

When meeting new dogs, finding a location which is neutral ground is key to avoid any territorial behaviours. Our field is the perfect enclosed space to socialise your dogs safely knowing that they've got plenty of space to roam and play with their new acquaintances.
