GLD All stars events are aimed at confidence building and bringing the equestrian community in our area together. GLD Equestrian is a freelance coaching service based Nr Goole. I offer very friendly and approchable coaching sessions from nervous beginners, happy hacking riders and up to competition level. I use different training techniques to suit a whole range of riders. My confidence building t

echnique for adults / children with lack of confidence has become a speciality! Believe me ive been there seen it and done in my past experience and being nervous is not a nice feeling. I am there to help riders work on goals, improve their horses way of going and acheive success through small steps, giving you exercises to work on through the week when I am not with you. I also host varied grass roots events and clinics in the Yorkshire area. Fully insured, with relevant qualifications and experience. Thank you all so much for the Christmas wishes, cards and pressies I have been truley spoilt from you all and really am forever grateful.

Thank you all for showing up week after week, it is a pleasure to see you all progress and meet your goals - through the highs and lows of horses it is a honour to be a very small part in the journey.

Thank you for choosing me 🫶

Have a great Christmas all and I look forward to seeing what 2026 brings us all.

More clinic dates will be added in the New Year and open to all, however regular lesson availability remains to full at present, I do have a waiting list and very happy to add people on.

Love this visual for helping understand what the horse feels when someone sits sit crookedly in the saddle.

I also like to think of it as a toddler on your shoulders trying to reach across to grab something think how much harder it is for you to stay balanced.

This morning at the show cross training clinic we worked on:

* How to ride a corner fence correctly, how to ride the line and approach the fence enabling the horse to jump easily and freely without interrupting the rhythm.

* We had a narrow sheep pen to tackle on course after a time section!

*Off set doubles with some plant pots in the middle to make our lines a little more interesting and a little trickier than the norm.

We looked at basic canter rhythm and canter lines throughout the ten element course 🐴

Well done to all who attended thank you for coming, I’m sorry I didn’t get pics of all!

Our next event is the Christmas Finale on the 29th Nov, which for the adults will consist of flat work and festive pole work.
For the juniors it will consist of some fun with Christmas poles and Christmas games!! (Older children/teens are welcome to join the adult sessions if they’d prefer to miss the games).
Please message me to book on - private’s are also available on the day to perfect what ever you wish to perfect!

** Christmas Finale festive fun Clinic **

Just to give you all the date for your diaries for the Christmas finale festive fun clinic, which will be on the 29th Nov at Croft Farm.
It will be full of festive cheer to celebrate a super year of coaching and clinics including games, bit of flat work and some festive pole work variation throughout the hour! Bring along your tinsel, Santa hats and the start of the festive spirit.

The next exciting clinic dates will be as follows… we will be bringing out the rustics and CHRISTMAS FINALE is back 🎄!!!

25th Oct & 29th Nov, book early to avoid disappointment limited places available - first come first serve! Payment secures places.

What a fabulous group you all were this morning on the confidence building farm ride clinic, thank you all for coming.
Well done, there wasn’t one person this morning who didn’t achieve a goal - great bunch.
