Thank you for everyoneβs patience with our short notice closure today.
Today we said goodbye to our big clumsy soft boy Deric, after a short illness with cancer. Weβve been so blessed to love and be loved by the most gentle, cuddly, smiley, silly, goofiest, goodest dog. Such a happy boy, such a presence, who just wanted to be friends with everyone. We took a chance on a huge clumsy puppy four years ago, and he just blossomed with our love.
The house is too quiet. We miss you so much DD. Sleep tight ππΎπ«π€

Welcome to Pet Companions Nottingham. Our aim is to provide pet care you can trust, in your own home. With various dog walking and pet sitting services available, weβre sure we can find just the level of care you would like for your furry, feathered or scaley family member.
With more than 17 years combined experience working and volunteering in the animal care sector, we have a wealth of experience caring for animals of all species, breeds, temperaments and backgrounds, including animals with behavioural and medical needs.
With a BTEC L3 National Diploma in Animal Management, Luke has worked with a wide variety of animals, from farm animals and llamas, cats, dogs and small furries to exotics such as reptiles, meerkats, and tarantulas. Luke has worked for a national animal welfare charity for the last 6 years where he cared for animals from a variety of backgrounds including those who had been neglected and ill-treated. Luke has volunteered with multiple animal charities, both nationally known and local, caring for various species of animals but most recently caring for dogs. For Luke, large breed dogs arenβt an issue as he has plenty of handling experience.
Roz is a Regional Welfare Advisor for a national animal charity, and has more than a decade of animal care experience. As the former deputy manager of an animal adoption centre, she has many yearsβ experience working with cats, from everyday handling and husbandry to dealing with isolation cases, rehabilitation and meeting the physical, medical and behavioural needs of cats from a variety of backgrounds.
It goes without saying that we are both animal mad and passionate about excellent care and welfare. It would be our pleasure to use our knowledge and skills to ensure we care for your pet to a gold standard, at the times when you canβt.
We both hold certificates in pet first aid and Luke is a certified Canine Emergency First Aider, so your pet will be in capable hands should there be a problem while they are in our care. We adhere to the Dogs Trust and RSPCA Professional Dog Walkerβs Guidelines, which outline excellence across dog walking standards.
We each hold a diploma and a certificate respectively in pet sitting and dog walking services and also hold numerous certifications in feline care, including handling and behaviour.
We are both DBS checked, fully insured and GDPR trained, so as well as taking care of your pets, we will also take care of your personal information.
We are really looking forward to meeting you and your extended family!
