ALL THINGS DOODLE!

As we come into the winter months it is more important than ever that our doodle breed coats are kept in the best condition.
Daily brushing and combing is essential, especially if a dog is getting damp on a walk.

This diagram shows the areas on a dog which are most prone to matting and need very regular grooming.

All doodles should have a Brush and a Comb and utilise the line brushing technique to help keep them knot free!

A beautiful hand strip to the start of the Easter Weekend!

This traditional technique involves pulling the dead hair out by hand, leaving a short healthy coat underneath! This is only used on certain breeds to keep their wiry coat in the most natural state.

🐶 Muddy paws 🐶

How terrible is this weather lately!?

Very muddy fields can cause a nightmare for your dogs paws. Mud sticks to hairs and causes great discomfort in between your dogs pads.

Getting them clipped out reduces the chance of mud and debris buildup and also results in an easier and quicker clean down back in your home!

This is my handsome boy, Dobby.
We rescued him 4 years ago and he is well and truly part of the family.
Dobby is 7 years old and a mix of Labrador and Bloodhound so he has a great sniffer on him! You may see us out and about in the Dales as we both love to walk.
Dobby's favourite thing to do is eat everything in sight!
