Apparently I haven't posted anything in a while... it's been a really hectic summer. Most of our activities/trips involved the dogs, but they had to stay at home when we went to Majorca. So we found this amazing guy to hang out with instead 🤣🤣🤣

Phew, it's looking like another scorcher today! We were up and out by 8 to get our walk on before it was too hot for the girls. I didn't walk them yesterday so they had some energy to burn and were flying through the fields. I, however, had not had time for my morning coffee so was much more sedate 🤣🤣
I still can't get over how beautiful it is here. We do the same walk most days as it's right behind the house, but it never gets dull when it's this glorious.

What family life is all about - a beautiful walk with the dogs before bed. It was just too hot to walk the dogs earlier so we've just been for an early evening walk, still only around one field as it's still fairly warm out but the dogs and small humans had a wonderful time in the cool long grass.

I've been largely absent from Instagram these past few weeks as my hole focus has been getting the visas approved for a family from Ukraine who will be joining us in a few days. But I can't ignore how beautiful the bluebells are. They look particularly striking beside ginger dogs don't you think? 🐕🐕🐕

I've been largely absent from social media these past few weeks as the whole family first went down with covid and then various of the younger humans caught tummy bugs. Trivial issues compared with what's going on across the sea, but fairly all consuming while we've been in the midst of it. Anyway, touchwood everyone is now healthy, the sun is shining and the house is cleaner than it's ever been after repeated deep cleans 😅😅😅

We ventured to Camber sands this weekend for some sand dune fun for the dogs and small humans. Oh my goodness it was windy! Arwen nearly took flight off the dunes and poor Sienna's coat was like the sail of a ship. Still a wonderful place for a walk though, and Arwen still swam in the icy water.

Today's a good day - Arwen's steroids are doing their job and she's back to normal, which includes sneaking into the sofa... 🥰🥰❤️🐕🐕

Last week Arwen dropped down to the final, lowest dose of steroids for her steroid responsive meningitis. All clinical signs were gone and she was leaping around like any other one year old. Unfortunately her body wasn't ready and her symptoms are back in force so it's back up a step again and just keeping everything crossed she can be off them soon. In the meantime, here's to hoping the increased dose will have her feeling better 🤞🤞🤞

Throwback to this little munchkin enjoying her naps in her crate. She grew out of the first one so fast, still in her 36 inch one though! Arwen and Sienna both love their crates and often take themselves off to them during the day for a snooze in peace and quiet 😴😴😴🐕🐕
Both my girls have memory foam beds and crate covers to keep them cosy and give them their own space away from the world.
And of course a lot of blankets to bury themselves into.

This teal/petrol blue is really hard to photograph! It's such a rich, luxurious colour but apparently my phone wants it to look cold and blue... You'll just have to trust me how beautiful it is 😅
And hopefully the recipient will enjoy resting their weary bones on this rather than the floor out and about.

Anyone else having real problems with the post? So many deliveries are in limbo for me at the moment stuck between couriers, companies and, well, me. I'm assuming staffing numbers are taking a hit everywhere still. Oh well, these two amazing bundles of fluffy, cosy delight made their way to me today. Can't wait to get started with them!
