Our gorgeous Sprocker reminds us that every puddle is part of the adventure 🌧️✨

We love seeing your four-legged friends enjoying the paddock too — whether they’re bounding through the grass, rolling in the mud, or simply sniffing every corner 🐶💦

🔒 Please remember to close and lock the paddock gate after use.
It’s easy to forget, but leaving it open puts users and animals at risk. Thank you for helping keep the paddock safe 💚

I’m sure most of our local dog walkers are aware of the blue-green algae in the Medway but if not please read 👀

⚠️ Caution: Blue-Green Algae ⚠️

Blue-green algae has now been found in both Haysden Water and the River Medway. It’s natural but can be toxic — especially to dogs.

🟢 It may look like green or blue scum, green streaks, or an oily film on the water.

🚫 Please take care:
- Avoid contact with the water
- Keep pets away
- Don’t swim, paddle, or let animals drink from it

💡 Exposure can cause:
In people: rashes, sickness, dizziness
In pets: vomiting, seizures, collapse

📞 Seek medical or veterinary help if symptoms appear.

Signs are up and water testing continues. Haysden Country Park with its footpaths and café is open, as are the beautiful trails along the river— so enjoy the outdoors, just stay out of the water.

We’ve debated for ages whether we should build a pond in the paddock, but we appreciate not everyone wants to put a wet muddy dog back in the car, so we’re testing the water (!) with this. Let us know what you think
