Important Update for Rabbit Owners🚨

There’s news about a highly contagious strain of Rabbit Viral Haemorrhagic Disease (RVHD2) spreading across parts of Europe, including Hungary, France, Northern Italy, and the Netherlands. While it hasn’t reached the UK, staying informed and prepared is key!

💉 The Good News: A new vaccine covering both the "virulent" and "classical" strains of RVHD2 is on the horizon! However, it’s not widely available in the UK yet and won’t protect against RVHD1 or myxomatosis.

In the meantime, here’s how you can help keep your bunnies safe:
✅ Stick with the current vaccines to ensure they’re protected.
✅ Change outdoor footwear before coming inside to avoid bringing the virus into your home.
✅ Avoid foraging in areas frequented by wild rabbits.

We’ll update you as soon as the new vaccine becomes available and provide recommendations for the best vaccination schedules.
