Sevenoaks Riding Club has been welcoming horses and riders since 1948 and is only one of two clubs in England to have its own grounds. The club is affiliated to British Riding Clubs, part of the British Horse Society, and welcomes riders of all abilities and ages. Our training clinics and competitions are aimed at all levels. Junior and Senior teams compete at Area level and frequently qualify for
National Championships. The Riding Club ground, Redlands, is situated adjacent to Knole Park in Sevenoaks and has a variety of facilities for members' use including:

Sand Jumping Lane
Cross Country Course (2ft - 3ft)
Large grass Show Jumping Arena
MEMBERSHIP
The Club offers three levels of membership
NON RIDING
Includes receipt of ‘Hoofprints’, our newsletter, and the national ‘Rider’ magazine. RIDING
Includes the Newsletter, Rider magazine, priority on Club Training Clinics, reduced entry fees and eligibility for Area team competitions. This gives Riding Members a chance to qualify for the BRC National Championships. REDLANDS
Includes all the benefits above plus unlimited use of Redlands and its facilities at any time-except on clinic or competition days.
We are still seeking one more junior or senior member that would like to be in the 90cm team at Hadlow on 13th October for the area qualifier.

We love the friendly and relaxed atmosphere of the Redlands show. As a committee we’ve all been there with young, quirky horses or understand that sometimes you just need a little more time, want to skip a jump or go straight round again!
It’s always great to see regular faces come to our shows and develop throughout the year. Not to mention the massive smiles from both horse and rider when they receive our wonderful rosettes that show that the hard work has paid off.

Sevenoaks riding club are so proud of all our members that went to Championships at Lincoln on the weekend! We are so pleased to announce we have had some phenomenal results starting with our 70cm senior showjumping team who came 3rd consisting of Sarah Grimshaw, CJ Stanley, Shannon and Summer Tasker
Our success continues with Summer Tasker riding Oreo, a rescue pony from Happy Endings, coming 2nd individual in the 70cm with a whopping double clear and a jump off time of 42 seconds!
We teamed up with Rother Valley and Amy Tate to make an area 1m showjumping team consisting of our members Evie Kerry, Harriet Gillam and Katherine Clewley. After a tricky two rounds they came away with a 5th!
On to our dressage and another fabulous performance was given by Evie Kerry and Byrnersround to secure them a 3rd in the junior elementary class.
Despite the journey up for most of our members, they had a fantastic time and loved every minute! Very well done to all our riders and their incredible horses! 🥉🥈🏆
Congratulations to Katherine Bass and Whose Leading Who for accumulating the most posts in the Intro classes throughout 2024 to win the Roughway Arena Hire Sash 🎉
We can’t quite believe that was our last show at Redlands for 2024!

Hunter Trial Training Day - Saturday 5th October
A great opportunity to ride around the Redlands XC course without the competitive atmosphere, these are intended to be fun training days.
Perfect for young, nervous or novice combinations with fences ranging from 70-90cm with a range of ditches, steps and a sunken road. Open to members and non members.
