A huge thank you to everyone that came to the AGM last night at the Bucks Head. It was great to see everyone and share some memories and successes of 2024 🎉

We can’t believe another year has passed, and it’s nearly time for our Annual General Meeting, which will take place on November 20 at 7:30p.m. at The Bucks Head, Godden Green.

The AGM is a chance for members to get to know each other, hear all the news from team competitions and get an update on our goals for 2025. It is also where we recognise achievements and present trophies to the lucky winners.

Please do come along as we’d love to see everyone and celebrate the 2024 season. If there’s anything anyone would like us to discuss at the meeting, then please do get in touch and we will happily add it to the agenda

After a very long day for the club and our volunteers (nearly a 12hr day for some!) we have completed another Area 10 winter qualifier sponsored by Equilibrium.

Before we tell you of our successes, we would like to say a massive thank you to all our volunteers from the Area 10 clubs. Without helpers, we could not run such a fun and successful day! All our Sevenoaks Riding Club committee members put in a massive amount of their own time voluntarily and we would like to thank the parking team Nicola and Pierre Leroy and Sally Pugmire who did such an incredible job parking 167 competitors.

Emily Peters with Diago from Sevenoaks Riding Club started the day’s success with a 5th in the 60cm mixed individual. Following their incredible round Shannon Tasker WON the 70cm senior individual riding Black Jack with the team consisting of CJ Stanley riding Killala Duke (8th individual) Summer Tasker riding Happy Endings Oreo (11th individual) and Louise Titchner riding Ballinkill Ralph taking 2nd as a team.

Kate Harrison riding Gortaderra Carrig took 2nd place after a very competitive class for the senior individual 80cm. Our senior 80cm team consisting of Kate Peck, who jumped on Grey Si, half way through organising the day, Louise Titchner riding Ballinkill Ralph, CJ Stanley riding Killala Duke and Kate Harrison took 4th as a team.

Our mixed 90cm team came 3rd consisting of Evie Kerry riding Byrnesround, Kate Peck riding Grey Si, Harriet Gillam riding Stonehall Miss Russel (8th individually) and Katherine Clewley riding Renkum Calamity (6th individually) who also rode half way through organising the show.

Our team’s success continued with a win in the 100cm mixed team consisting of Wendy Thatcher riding Blaeberry Bettlejuice, Katherine Clewley riding Renkum Calamity, Harriet Gillam riding Stonehall Miss Russel and Evie Kerry riding Trigger Touch. Katherine Clewley came 2nd as an individually alongside Wendy Thatcher taking a 3rd and Harriet 5th.

A great day had by lots of competitors young and old and once again, a very big congratulations to all those who took part! 🥇🥈🥉🐴

We would like to wish all our junior and senior members who are competing tomorrow at Hadlow for the area 10 showjumping qualifier good luck!

Sevenoaks Riding Club are organising and hosting the event and any extra SRC members that would like to help it would be greatly appreciated! Tea/ coffee and cake provided!

🌟Hunter Trial Training Day - Sunday 20th October 🌟

An exciting opportunity to ride around the Redlands XC course without the competitive atmosphere, these are intended to be fun training days.
Perfect for young, nervous or novice combinations.

👉🏼 10am - XC Training
Starting at 10am there will be a group XC instruction, where riders can practice the jumps, that they will be riding. After the training, there will be an opportunity to ride around the course as a 'clear round'. All clear rounds will receive a rosette

Entry Fee:

🌟 Training (to include a Clear Round) - SRC £25 Non Members £30
