For 16 years, Defib the cat has been a beloved resident at Walthamstow ambulance station. Now, due to changes in local management at London Ambulance Service, he faces eviction. Rescued as a kitten by the staff, he's been a constant companion ever since. Staff are calling this decision an unnecessary act of cruelty, especially given his age and the growing acceptance of therapy animals in workplaces. They’re asking for support to allow Defib to live out his final years in the place he’s always known and loved.

Lush walk along the river bank today, drizzled with rain the entire time 🤣🤦🏽‍♀️…. Was struck by how pretty a field of spuds was!!! Well the blossom anyway lol… then got a little obsessed with wild flowers as you do!!!!.. lovely to back to it after a weeks leave….

Henlo Whistlers…. Ivy MacTiredpants here….mummy says I’ve been overtired today and a little bit naughty….i had my ears painted on today mummy said, I wasn’t listening and I was staring at some ladies who gave me some cheese … yum yum…. Mummy said I was being very cheeky!!!!! I went for a swim in a Harry Potter Loch, I don’t know what that is but I was freezing cold so needed by jamamas on….. mummy made me laugh because she was waving her arms around and shouting at the midges, I think they had painted on ears too as they weren’t listening and kept biting mummy …. I wouldn’t bite mummy😂😂….
We finished the day getting blowed away in a place called Mallaig….

Off to a castle tomorrow….

Wotcha…… McIvys Wednesday whistley report coming to you from the depths of Loch Ness…. Oh my dawg… we went Nessie hunting, now I don’t know who Nessie is, but I’m told Nessie is a big monster….. but that doesn’t scare me as I killed my Nessie fluffy toy so how scary could the other one be??… aaanyway, I went under the sea, saw dinosaurs and did lots of learning….. I did see Nessie and showed him I wasn’t scared…. I was big and brave…….
We went for a little run around in a wood before going home….that wet stuff was coming down from the sky and not the sky we went to yesterday… see I’m doing a confuse now…

More adventures tomorrow, so happy to have spoken to Pippy on the tellingbone…

Henlo Frens, whistlers and hoomans…… I’ve had the best bestest day ever today..
Mummy said we were going to Skye today which did me a confuse, and mummy said we had to go on a ferry. We met a Scottish whistler, his name is Spot… he’s my new “pal”… he helped his mummy untie the boat, however, MY mummy gave him a tuddle 🙄, I wasn’t happy about that, anyhoo, we stopped for a picnic, no chimkin so I had sosijs..nom nom…. Then….. frens, the best sploshing ever…. I put my face in da water, mummy,Aunty Lyn and Da Ems did to.. Karlos didn’t because he says he doesn’t believe the water will keep you looking young as he’s too fluffy for that nonsense…. Whatever Karlos, I helped mummy put her face in… I played and played in the water for ages…. We got back in the car and went somewhere called Portree and I share mummy’s chippies….. iiii tiyad now Frens, my yeyes wont….stay…..open….

Miss you Pip… fankyo for letting me come on holiday…..

Oh my dawg!! Whistlers I’ve had the best day…..
I’ve been on a boat and had lots of strokes off the people……. Saw some seals on a rock but I wasn’t allowed to jump in and say hello…. The boat was very noisy but I was very bwave mummy said…. Saw a fishy farm, I likes fishes… in my tummy but I wasn’t allowed to eat these ones….
We also went up a big staircase where little boats come through…..over bridges, and we sat down in another coffee shop sheeesh 🙄… mummy, ALyn and Ems played cards and I tried my best to have a snooze….

More adventures tomorrow… missing Pippy, but I’m loving having mummy all to myself ….

Och ai tha nooo pals…… 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, mummy says I’m fluent whatever that means….I’ve had the best day.. I’m missing my big sister pip but I’m being big, brave and boobiful… Went to Fort William and I went sploshing, Whistlers you would all love it lots of jumping places…. Had a lovely walk then went into a coffee shop… I’m quite liking this coffee shop stuff…. Shared mummy’s crisps because I was a good girl….
We went to see some very big people standing still but I wasn’t allowed out of the car… mummy was leaking from her eyes, she said she was paying her respects…there was a man blowing into some pipes…. But it wasn’t like mummy’s whistle….

Anyway whistlers I’m off to have an evening leg stretch once I’ve helped her eat her lamb….😂😂😂…
