South West GSD Rescue Rescuing & re-homing German Shepherd Dogs and related breeds and cross-breeds We offer friendly advice and always welcome and accept friendly advice.

We are a small non-profit organisation based in the South West of England dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of German Shepherds and other dogs at risk. Our team are all very friendly, entirely voluntary and stupidly enthusiastic about what they do. We love the breed, learning about them and what makes them the great dogs and companions that they are. In parallel with this page,

we maintain an open Facebook Group (http://facebook.com/groups/SWGSDR) where we welcome both new and old friends of the breed and freely encourage participation, posting and chatter on all things related to our rescue work and the dogs we love. We are always on the lookout for suitable adoptive homes and families, but in the meantime, forever in desperate need of foster homes to help us care for those of our dogs still seeking their forever home. 2026 CALENDAR
Good morning, everyone. It's nearly that time of year again: Christmas! so get your photos in for the 2026 calendar. Photos need to be high definition, taken with either a smartphone or digital camera; those taken off Facebook or put in comments are not good enough quality. If you would like your dog to feature in the calendar, please send your photos to this email. [email protected] I will do my best to feature all dogs that are sent in. I need all photos in by the end of October, please.
Do you own a business? would you like to advertise it in our calendar? If so, send your logo, etc., to [email protected] and for £10 your ad will feature in our calendar.
Please send your dog's name along with your photos.
Calendars this year will be £11; this includes postage. Thank you in advance.
