⚠️ Just something to be aware of, can be really nasty stuff ⚠️

🐕 Keep safe during all of your pawsome adventures 🐕

Blue-green algae are most commonly found in non-flowing fresh water such as lakes or ponds during the warm weather but can also occur at other times of the year. They can float on the surface of the water or be bottom dwelling.

Exposures in animals usually occur when they drink from water bodies where the algae have bloomed. Dogs are often affected when they swim in infested water bodies or groom themselves afterwards.

Although not all species are toxic, many blue-green algae produce toxins that can have effects on different body systems. Clinical signs therefore vary depending on the toxin(s) involved, but can include gastrointestinal signs, liver failure and neurological signs.

If you know or suspect that your pet has come into contact with blue-green algae, we recommend that you seek veterinary treatment as soon as possible. Veterinary professionals can call VPIS on 0207 3055 055.

No bank holiday blues here for me and the wolfy one 🐺
We had a lovely walk this morning to one of our favourite sniffy spots despite it being cut short as I didn’t fancy attempting the muddy slop in the drizzle 🤣

Only down side was the amount of p**p bags and 💩 along the path, really disappointing but Boud’s helped sniff them out and I brought them safely back to the bin 🚮

We hope all our pawed pals are having a wonderful weekend 🐕

Aaaaand we are back 🥰
We’ve had a lovely few days away in Norfolk filled with lots of walks, adventures and of course pub lunches!
We have one very tired wolfy one 🐺 but looking forward to seeing all our pawed pals this week 🐾

I will be about for the next couple of days catching up with bits and bobs but after Wednesday evening we will be off!

👋 We would just like to let all our pawed pals and their families know that the very unplanned lake Boudicca is very much taking shape!

So for all that aren’t aware our neighbour is having an issue with a slight water leak 💦 which just so happens to be at the side of our property 😅 because of this all drop offs & collections will have to be at the front door for the time being

I can confirm that we are doing all that we can at Poodling Paws Hq to support the situation. That being said i wanted to take a moment to let everyone know that the water in question is clean but we would really appreciate it if you can all make sure your lovely boys 😉 aren’t doing their business in the water or on the sandbags so we can keep everything as clean as possible.

I thank you all for your patience and apologise for any inconveniences that this may cause
Now off for a paddle 🤣 🐺

***EDIT*** Can people who’s dogs have been affected by this please report to the police.
⚠️ Warning ⚠️ Dog Walkers!!! Several dogs have been poisoned by antifreeze poured into dog bowls by toilet blocks on Minster Beach (info given by dog owners) . We had to remove our bowls from outside the pub. Please ask for fresh water from our bar staff ONLY and accept dog treats from our bar staff ONLY. 🐕 🛷 🐶 🦮 ❤️ 💙 💜 Please Share

☀️Happy Bank Holiday to all our furry friends & not so furry ones! ☀️
And what is a bank holiday without treating ourselves🍹🍨but then again who needs an excuse to spoil our pups 🐶 we don’t, that’s for sure!

So with the help of Halfway pet shop Boudicca Bou received her very own hand delivered mystery parcel 📦 as you can tell we have one very happy wolfy one!
From tearing open the lovely prezzy, to finding all these wonderful things inside.

We would like to wish all our PAW-some friends the most wonderful Christmas 🎁🎅🏻🎄and an absolutely fantastic new year break🎆

My big wolfy 🐺 elf helper has been closely monitoring my work today to ensure all the treats are in the right place and the wrapping isn’t torn!

We will be taking a little time off, so I will apologise in advance for my extra slow response time 😅

New bandana time for our beautiful Boudicca 🐺 and she’s starting to feel festive 🎃👻🐈‍⬛

‼️‼️I just wanted to let everybody know from Sunday 16th October we will be having a little break‼️‼️

It’s going to feel very strange not having multiple sets of paws 🐾 in the house 🏡 however we have some very much needed home renovations taking place 🤩 along with a couple of improvements for the pooches too 🐕🐩🐕‍🦺

I will have little access to my phone 📱 and emails 💌 please feel free to message me over the next 2 days, otherwise I will look forward to catching up with you all on the 3️⃣1️⃣st
