Let’s take some time out from Hoofing Around so we can tell you how it begun. From Malta to Minster our boy Chene came, and the struggles started. From losing a hoof pick in the field to needing rugs upon rugs for summer & winter, we found ourselves spending more time traveling around to purchase these things rather than spending time with him. It wasn’t long until one became two and our girl

Aunt Edna came to join our family and with her own needs the struggles become double! We quickly realised that our nearest equestrian supplier was a 30-mile round trip away and sometimes needing that ‘purple spray’ just can’t wait! So, this is where the idea for a local click and collect business came from. Hoofing Around Horse Supplies was then created by myself Stacey and my mum Denise. We wanted to give the local equestrian community access to affordable, quality equine products on their doorstep. Since launching our business in March 2023, not only have we been serving our local community we have also been serving all four nations of our isles by stocking a large range of well-known brands. From cosy winter rugs to soothing summer fly spray, we pride ourselves on “keeping horses happy”.
