And this is why the dog training world is buggered and the poor dog owners have no idea what to listen to? 🤷🏼‍♂️🙈🤣

A coffee stop to decompress and warm up after a chilly, scary environmental exposure session with Kirby. He looks sorry for himself but he did just have a lovely handful of fresh chicken off the staff 👌🏼🙏🏼🐾

Evening guys. I am planning on doing a monthly live question and answer session for our Online Academy members via zoom so we can record it and put it in the video library for your future reference and for anyone who misses it but is a member. I was considering either a Monday evening or a Thursday evening as there are no evening classes at the school on those days, so any members who are attending classes can still join the live.
I would be interested in your thoughts as to what day would suit the majority of members? Obviously I can’t please everyone so will consider the day with the most votes. Any feedback would be appreciated 🙏🏼. Neil
If you arent a member of our Online academy heres the link if you want to register and have not already done so.

One of the most influential books I read during my dog and human training development journey was “Don’t Shoot The Dog” by Karen Prior. It even helped me when dealing with confrontational people as a Police Officer.

Karen Prior was a pioneer and brought so much to the dog training space. She is considered to be the driving force behind the clicker training boom.

Sadly, Karen Prior passed away today at the ripe age of 92 years old and will leave a void in the animal training world.

RIP 🙏🏼🐾.

Social media has become the place to post a small segment of an incident or process so the posting party can use it to serve their own narrative. Maybe if they posted the whole thing people could make their own minds up and make an informed decision that suits their own values and ethical approach.

This is unfortunately a marketing strategy for so many dog trainers in this industry at the moment. It is dishonest and misleading. Morals and ethics encompass everything we do in life and says a lot about the person we are, not just the methodology of training we adopt.🙏🏼🐾❤️
