HAPPY NEW YEAR 🥳 I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and new year I am back at work tomorrow 3rd Jan and looking forward to getting back in to the swing of things!!

My diary is fully booked for January, so if you don’t have your next appointment booked already please drop me a message 🐶

I have limited availability for new customers but please do message me if your hoping to get on my books and we can see what we can do 🐶

And just a reminder that we’re still in winter and if the weather is bad it may mean that I have to move or reschedule your appointment but I will always be in touch if any weather related issues occur 🥶🐶

A minute to talk about fleas
🐜🐜🐜🐜

If your dog has fleas at the time of their appointment you will be charged a flea fee.

If you think your dog may have fleas at the time of their groom please let me know beforehand.

Ensure you are regularly treating your dog for fleas - particularly if they are long/curly coated or have dark fur as they can be harder to spot.

Use a vet prescribed flea treatment, as some over the counter treatments aren’t fully effective.

If you do have a flea infestation ensure you treat your dog AND your home - this means washing all bedding and soft furnishings on a high temperature, regularly vacuuming and using indoor household flea spray if needed. If you don’t treat the home the fleas will return as the eggs which have been laid complete the lifecycle and become adult fleas. This cycle will continue if you do not treat the home. This can take several weeks so you will need to continue to treat the home.

There is plenty of info online about how best to deal with a flea infestation.

If I have a dog with fleas in the van it means I will either run late or have to reschedule other customers to ensure I have throughly cleaned and treated the van. As I said please please let me know if your dog has fleas before your appointment.

Puppies 😍

Not gonna lie puppy grooms are challenging, they’re learning so much and it’s all a bit strange the first few times, but little by little we get there. I always ask my puppy owners to be patient when it comes to a good haircut, that comes in time, at first it can be a bit choppy as the coat is settling and the dog is getting used to being groomed!
(This little guys hear was shaved by the vet hence the flatness 🤣)

Back to work today after my holiday! Can’t believe I didn’t post this little cutie from a few weeks ago 💕

💕PLEASE NOTE 💕
I am fully booked out, I know it’s hot however I am full and I am not offering any swaps or a cancellation list.
I can’t stress enough how important it is to consider your dogs grooming needs BEFORE it gets hot….the best way to do this is to keep them booked in on a super regular schedule and consider dropping a length or two for the summer.

During hot weather I may need to move the time and/or date of your appointment….this is in your dogs best interest if the van is too hot to groom in.

Please remember I am doing my best to ensure everyone has their appointment and that me and the dogs are comfortable and healthy during the hot summer days☀️

Happy to finally see some sunshine ☀️ here are a couple of summer notices:

☀️ Please ensure your next appointment is booked in so your dog is ready for their summer groom which will help to keep them cool and comfortable.

☀️ I’m having a break from taking on new clients to ensure availability for my regulars, June is full and July & August is filling up fast!

☀️ If the weather heats up considerably I may need to reschedule the time and/or date of your appointment for your dogs health and well-being. Please bare with me in these situations ☀️

And finally, if it is hot please don’t walk your dogs at the hottest time of day….it could be fatal. I recommend walking early morning or in the evening and playing indoor games inside to exercise your dogs body and mind 🐾 🐾
