Meet Cairo!
This lovely 5yr old boy was rescued by the wonderful Heather who just felt that his posture was off and he was struggling with the start of his training.
The day after his first treatment Heather sent me this comparison of a few days before and the day after his session! So amazing to see him standing much less camped under and awesome to hear he's finding his movement easier
I'm so excited to go and see him again in a few weeks, he had tension and twist through his whole body but his major area was his pelvis which had a very big rotation - he had compensated so well you could hardly tell when he was walking!

This handsome pair had some lovely reactions today 🥱 Faulkener loves his regular maintenance treatments, especially around his shoulders which is where he like to carry himself and his tension.
And Digby finally succumbed to relaxation during his third treatment, he is very nosy and normally likes to check in with where his girls are 😉
Both boys have a lovely quiet semi-retired life in the beautiful peak district with regular treatments to keep them feeling fab- alright for some!!

Leyla is a super sensitive girl who struggles to trust, she has experienced a lot of pain in her past with three regions of kissing spine - so it was no surprise she was unsure (to say the least!!) about any treatment.
After a lot of slow and careful work leyla has learnt to enjoy, and even go to sleep in the sunshine, in her sessions and has subsequently become less reactive to touch and much more comfortable, with some gentle hacking started again! 🥳

She still has to check in with me with sleepy eyes and wears a muzzle as she is still occasionally sharp to tell me if she doesn't like something 👀

I met this beautiful girl yesterday 😍
She is my first retired racing greyhound, for her first 4 years she raced just down the road! And has now fallen in her paws with a lovely family and a cosy bed! I went to see her just to make sure she's feeling the best she can as she gracefully ages. Racing puts a lot of pressure through the body and she had built up some compensation patterns that we are now helping to sort out 🥰
She was a very good girl, especially for some treats 👀😂

This handsome man is Archie,
He has had a few treatments now and is generally on a maintenance schedule, however,
his owner noticed some twitching and avoidance when petting down his back so called me out for a check over and treatment, safe to say he finds it very relaxing and can't help but have a lie down mid session!
He should be feeling much better after his treatment today and will be back to playing with his toys soon! ❤️🐶

I'm very excited to introduce you to Yorkie and Christie who I am sponsoring this year!

I have seen Yorkie regularly since Christie started to take him out and about last year to keep him feeling fab. Chiro has helped build muscle symmetrically and developed his balance to improve his jump and dressage techniques.

Does your horse prefer to hold their head to one side when walking in a straight line? Or maybe you just find it harder to bend their neck in one direction.
These can be little signs of muscle tightness which can stem from misalignments through the vertebrae of the neck

Walk and feed them before the fireworks start!
🐕‍🦺 Do not let them off the lead!!

It’s really important that you continue to desensitise yours dogs to fireworks throughout the year, not just changing walk routines, playing loud music randomly or wrapping them in jackets and changing your own behaviour towards them (that alone can cause anxiety!)

Even if they have coped well before doesn’t mean they will continue to do so. Don’t be complacent. Often older animals can develop anxiety due to an association with pain and noises.

I had a fabulous time at the gala! I went along with my college Vicky Sowerby who is a registered canine massage therapist to spread the word about complementary therapies and how they can help individually and together to help with injury prevention and mobility as well as recovery

We are both looking forward to meeting lots of people and their pooches at Pooches in the Park on Sunday the 16th of October!

One reason for canine chiro... It may be unusual one but definitely worth it for our tri-pawed friends!
Tate had his leg removed after a car accident in Romania where his parents rescued him from!
He's such a happy and loving boy and after all he's been through that he deserves to feel the best he can - which his amazing parents give him!
Regular chiro and hydro with help keep both hind legs as evenly muscled as possible to really help support that lone fore limb and keep him bouncing along happy and free 😍🐕

Such a cute little face! I went to see T***y today and had to give him a shout out! Since I last saw him he has only gone and won supreme show champion at his first ever show! 🎉🎉
He is only young and as his mum was teaching him to be ridden she found he was difficult and downhill in canter, since treatment and careful work he has found it much easier and the time and work has obviously paid off!
He is also just the most cuddly horse ever which makes it a joy to go and see him! 😍🐴

The greyhound trust do such wonderful work helping dogs find their forever homes.
