🐢 EXCITING NEWS 🐢

Briar Vets are excited to announce that we are introducing 'lap spay' surgery to our clinic.

Laparoscopic ovariectomy is a minimally invasive method of neutering female dogs. The surgery is carried out under general anaesthetic, using keyhole surgery equipment to perform the procedure through three small holes in the tummy. It has many advantages over the traditional spay operation:
βœ…οΈ faster patient recovery
βœ…οΈ less pain following surgery
βœ…οΈ lower rate of complications.

Lap spays are particularly suitable for active/working dogs that may be difficult to rest after surgery.

We are offering a few Lap Spay appointments with the special introductory offer of no Lap Spay surcharge (a Β£300+ saving)!

If you are a registered client and have a female dog that is:
βœ…οΈ 3 months post-season, and not ready to come in again
βœ…οΈ more than 8kg bodyweight
βœ…οΈ not intended for breeding

The sensational Sandy had a spa day today, while staying at Sparky's Pooch Pad this weekend. Sandy was not impressed with the bath and tolerated the hairdryer 🀣 She did get into the groom and after many negotiations with dried liver agreed to have he nails and feet trimmed πŸŽ‰ Finished off with a spray of Diva cologne ❀️🐢😱

The lovely Luna and I had a girly evening in Sparky's Spa Pad on Friday. After the invigorating bath and soothing facial, it was playtime before blow drying, which resulted in me nearly going blind and being smothered by all the hair coming off Luna.
