It’s that time of year again where farmers fields have blossomed into pretty yellow flowers, these plants are called Rapeseed. Although it may be tempting to place your dog in the mist to take a scenic photo, please avoid this at all costs!
Rapeseed can be dangerous for dogs, especially in highly sensitive canines.

Rapeseed is listed by Dogs Trust as toxic to our dogs if ingested and can cause symptoms such as:
❌ Hemolytic Anemia
❌ Blindness
❌ Damaged Nervous System
❌ Digestive Disorders
❌ Breathing Problems

Even walking through these fields should be avoided! In June 2019, a dog has been reported to suffer from severe open wounds after running through a crop of rapeseed.

Please seek immediate veterinary attention if your dog shows any signs of rapeseed poisoning!

This is just so sad and SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED!! 😢😡 Swans mate for life and grieve like we do 💔🦢🦢Both parents would been protecting their nest just like any would.
❗️❗️❗️❗️Dogs SHOULD NOT be allowed to run free during nesting season❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️
PLEASE people, read and see the terrible outcome of letting your dog run free during this time. Even if your dog doesn't attack, stress and panic can kill.
These Swans have been on our local canal for over 12 years as a pair. Now the father is a broken hearted widow and a full clutch of eggs will very likely not survive. Heart breaking.............

PLEASE SHARE - Spread the word - If we can help save even one of these beautiful birds this poor creature will not have died and suffered completely in vain.

Although this is a campaign run in the United States each year, there is some valuable information here about dog bite prevention. Here in the UK we need to be just as aware of dog bite prevention - especially where children are involved.

Any dog can bite—big or small, male or female, young or old. It’s not a dog's breed that determines whether it will bite, but rather the dog's individual history and behavior.

🍦🐾 DIY Doggy Ice Cream 🐾🍦​
Here's a DOGGIE ICE CREAM recipe we had to share!
A great way to keep your furry friend cool during the hot summer months! ☀️🐶

Detailed Recipe & Step By Step Instruction Here 👇

​📋 Ingredients:

🍌 1 Ripe Banana
🥜 1/2 cup all natural Peanut Butter
🥛 1 cup Plain Natural Yogurt
🍯 1 teaspoon Honey
​
📝INSTRUCTIONS:
​
1️⃣ Heat the all-natural peanut butter up in the microwave or on a stove until it is easy to stir. 🔥
2️⃣ Mash the ripe banana in a bowl. 🍌
3️⃣ Mix in the plain yogurt. 🥛
4️⃣ Add honey to the banana and yogurt mixture. 🍯
5️⃣ Stir peanut butter into the mixture until everything is well combined. 🥜
6️⃣ Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and place in the freezer. ❄️
7️⃣ Let it sit in the freezer for at least 6 hours to chill. ⏰

​NOTES 💡:
Make sure to use natural, unsweetened yogurt and peanut butter to keep it healthy for your dog. 🥜🥛 make sure there no artificial sweeteners.
