From Nov 1st my pricing changed to allow us to continue to heat the cattery at the higher standards of 18-24 degrees C 24hrs a day
Single occupancy £13.50 per day or part day
Double occupancy remains at £18 per day or part day
Treble occupancy remains at £24 per day or part day

Who would have thought cat food would become political? I've been using tinned food previously so that I can recycle the cans, then I saw that Pets at Home recycle the single use pouches. No sooner have I purchased the mega box of Felix and there's a media storm about those greedy unscrupulous lot at Nestle. Turns out Nestle own Purina, the brand behind so much of our pet food. So now I'm looking at https://thegoodshoppingguide.com/subject/cat-dog-food/ to source something more ethical.
It's just the way we roll here.... we won't just buy the cheapest cat litter and food, because we know that with our cash we can make choices that have a good impact.

Topsey jumped out of her owners car on Mowson Lane Worrall, Wednesday 16th June. If you see her can you message The Glade Cattery please? She is really timid so you might not get near her, but we would like to see if she is making her way home from Worrall to Oughtibridge.

This is Topsey, a customer was bringing her to The Glade Cattery This morning but she didn't realise her crafty cat had escaped her carrier and was loose in the car. When she opened the boot said kitty made a run for it. Topsey ran up Mowson and hid in a garden on Hagg Stones Road. She's from Oughtibridge so I'm sure she will make her way home. She's microchipped but very timid so will be difficult to catch. I have a cat box here if anyone does catch her. If you see her could you message me and we will track her movements as she heads home...... Which I'm sure she will.

It's been so lovely to finally have some residents. The cats are showing us that our knowledge gleaned from the book 'What cats want' by Yuki Hattori is spot on! A place to hide, shelves to sit up high - cats just like to feel superior you know

People are starting to book holidays, yay! So I thought I would add a few more photos of the cattery. It's called the glade because it's set in a glade. The bird song is incredible right now, though not much happening other than snow drops around the little orchard...
