We are open this week Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10-3 each day. Soft play area, coffee shop and lots of animal related fun 🦨🦝🪳🐌🦙🦌🫏🐇🐍🦆🐑🐢🦎🐓🦉🕷️

Just a reminder that due to a large event at Gulliver’s this week we will be closed to the public - we will be open again independently from Tuesday 26th November (10-3).

Gulliver's Valley Resort will be closed tomorrow (3rd) and next weekend (9th & 10th) - however we will be open from 10am - 3pm for lots of animal related fun:

Guinea pig encounter
Reptile experiences
Meet our owl
Meerkat & Porcupine feed
Mini llama treks
Reindeer feed
Raccoon feeding

So drop in for lots of animal encounters, soft play and a coffee. No need to book, just pay on arrival. Adults and families all welcome.

A small charity in need of some help if anyone can spare a little something for the animals in their care. Please share this.

We are needing you're help urgently‼️
AT RISK OF HAVING NO CHOICE BUT CLOSE‼️ 💔🐴🫏🐑🐐🐷🐱🐔🐓🦆💔

We want to say a HUGE thank you to all our volunteers , followers and everyone wanting to help our sanctuary 🩷 , sadly with too little help with funding and with little donations we are at great risk of having no choice but close our Sanctuary. 💔💔💔💔
Its the most heartbreaking possibility we could ever ever think of 😢💔 . Theres no words to describe how we feel right now knowing how bad things are 😢 We have calls, emails and messages with people needing our help with their horses and other animals wanting us to be a home for them.
But this isn't possible
All our animals receive vet appointments , have all the medications they need and this can not stop.

We really really need your help

On a daily basis we need food , so much food for our babies
Cat food , horse feed, goat feed , pig feed

We also need members to join our fundraising committee and help us really make it take off! The last thing we want to do is close down, our babies need us and we need them . 💔 As a cry for donations, and members to join our fundraising committee we reach out to the public, horse and non horse people to save us from having to close .
We are paying thousands, and sadly can't keep it up anymore 😢 this is heart breaking for us 💔💔💔

We need regular funding to keep going we can't keep going as we are ....

❗Financial help to buy hay , straw and we need lots of dust free shavings for our old girl Trinkett

❗️ We need financial help for wages as the animals are needing more care than ever

❗️ The only car we had to collect hay and straw got wrote off a few weeks ago from a car driving down the road and crashing into our wall and car ...we now have a car from the insurance company but only been given very little to replace the car we had which was great for up at the sanctuary 😢

This little hedgehog was brought in to the vets with balloon syndrome. This can be caused by trauma or infection causing gas or air to build up under the skin. After ruling out life threatening injuries, the air was released, and he was treated with pain killers and antibiotics. He now seems to be on the way to recovery. It’s been 9 years today that we received a call about an orphan (Crear) who needed a home - here is a little video from when we collected her - having still not opened her eyes. She is, and always has been a calm and confident animal - being the favourite for most of our keepers. I think you will agree she was the baby.

Strix wasn’t happy this morning after getting a face wash from keepers - but just like a child his food was all over his face!

The rain eventually stopped and the sun came out this morning, followed by the flurry of activity all over our site - amazing!! You have to love an invertebrate 🦋🐝🐞🦟🦗🐜🪲🪰🪳🕷️
