To those riding today, Snowdon Lane currently has road closed signs on it. I think they’re resurfacing near the tree shop, so you can access us from the Marsh Lane end of the road, those coming from Coal Aston may get diverted through Apperknowle. Hopefully they won’t be doing road works for too long. Thanks.

We have a part time job available of around 15 hours a week, with some extra holiday cover over summer.
This is a 6 to 8 month job to cover someone being off a while but with potential to continue after.
Hours are split over quite a few days so you would need ability to get here and home again, we’re not on a bus route.
Pay is NMW.
Need to be able to have some horse handling experience, but you will get training for the jobs that need doing.

Claire Hair from Nettleton Grange is bringing her obstacles for Working Equitation to Snowdon to have a go at doing. Great for anyone who would like a bit of something different with their horse. Good for control, balance and fun. Open for any level of riders on their own horse, with or without any experience if this kind of thing.
Nice indoor arena to work in so don’t worry about the weather. Claire is a grade 3 instructor and can offer great advice and improvements for you to work in with your horse.

Enthusiastic, friendly, reliable, trustworthy, not afraid of hard work and challenging weather.
Has a passion for horse care and is willing to learn the way we ride, teach and handle the horses.
With some practical horse knowledge but will get on the job training.
Fan of Yorkshire tea
With the opportunity to make it into a career with BHS exam training and riding available if interested and keen.
Has own transport or ability to get here for split shifts, no public transport passes by us.
30hrs (possibly more) including one weekend day with flexibility to help with holiday cover.

Very sadly we said goodbye to Zara yesterday. She’d had a good 11/12 years retirement with her friends. She was at least 33yrs old. What a super pony she was with lots of high speed jumping. 💔😢

Camp 2023 done! Well done all of you. We had a lovely time, lessons, ba****ck, agility, working equitation, stable management and hacking to do showjumping at Eckington Riding Club. What a brilliant few days. Hope you all sleep well tonight.

Pony club had a talk from the dentist tonight. Very interesting for them all to see the skulls, learn lots, have a feel and then have a look inside a mouth and a feel too, finished with lots of good questions and a badge too.
