Hello everyone! I know I always say it but yes I’m still here. 😂

I’ve been working in the background but we’ve really tried to have some quiet time with the houndies and our at home with us son!

The website is now back fully open! Yay! 👏🏻

Our poor Brian is not well again. He’s having another blip in his kidney issues but we’re helping him. The blips are getting more frequent but we’ll never let him suffer…this is him on Christmas Day with his Octo!

Anyway….Happy New Year everyone. Onwards and upwards no matter what! 🥰

Yes I’m still here. Been busy trying to get family treats finished and baking like a pro! 😂

Well, I’d like to thank you all for your orders. It was a quiet start to the year but it picked up.

So that has helped with my donation amounts this year. I have to admit it’s been a hard year for fundraising but we’ve got there.

So what have we managed to donate with all your help….well it’s a very happy £1608.56….where the 56p comes from I’m not sure! Maybe a pennie in the pot.

I’d really like to thank you all for your help to fundraise with me and my hounds. We’re so grateful.

So it’s a very Merry Christmas from us to you . Hope you all have a peaceful time and for my family and friends that are working hope it’s a quiet time.

Last of the collar treats going out to rescue.

These will be the last of the treats for this year as I’m now having a break from collaring and fleecing and hoping to catch up with baking and making for family.

The sewing girls are now resting and will soon be having a deep clean ready for more sewing in the New Year. 🧵🪡

Well last few items to sort and post! ✉️
The post is now getting sluggish with a couple of 24 tracked parcels taking a couple of days and one taking 3 days!

On a different theme as some of you will know EU and NI directorates are changing this week for businesses in mainland UK sending parcels.
I would have to employ a 3rd party organisation to ensure I comply with regulations and for me at present it is just not affordable.
I have therefore reluctantly taken off EU and NI options from the website. Such a sad time for small businesses like myself to try and battle the red tape….😢

Okay folks I’m back online!

It’s been a really stressful few days for not only myself but several charities and other small businesses that support rescues.

Our websites were built by the most phenomenal dog rescue supporter person you could ever meet.

He was always there in the background and helped when we needed it and for me he taught me over the years how to go from a total website novice to being able to write code! Some achievement I’ll say!!!

Sadly he passed away 3/52 ago very unexpectedly and he will be missed by so many in the dog rescue world and by many who were his friends via the website involvement.

Rest in peace mate, there will be many who miss you…😔

Hello everyone!

I’m working through all your lovely orders and my hand after the surgery is improving slowly….

The last order of fleece arrived today so by next week all collars and coats and fleeces will be made and posted!

On a rubbish note our Brian is poorly with one of his kidney blips. Meds and loves on order for him tonight. We have to live with the fact he’ll have more of these but the good times in between are bliss. He’ll never suffer….

Had a lovely day at Erin Hounds Sighthound Rescue Meet and Greet.

Had to do a reroute drive to get there because of the weather so my 1.5hr journey became 3hr. 😯 so I set off bright and early (5:15 am 😳).

It was well worth it and the volunteers did an amazing job making things to sell on the day. All our collars are made with all money going to the rescue.

Coffee and cake (made by volunteers) was flowing all day so it kept us going and despite the weather we had an amazing turnout of supporters.

Always love a good fundraiser! A lot of effort but definitely worth it….🐾🐾

Just a quick reminder, I’m not around for this weekend. I’m at a fundraiser tomorrow at Erin Hounds Sighthound Rescue over in Macclesfield with loads of donation collars to sell.

If you’re in the area please call in, coffee and cake will be on offer and loads of treats for hounds and humans!

Just dreading the journey over, it’s forecasting a snow dump on the hills in the morning so a much longer reroute time is on the cards!

Hello everyone! 👋🏻

Just a quick reminder that new orders are now closed until the New Year. All orders already taken and enquired about will be made but after today all new enquiries or orders will not be able to be made until the New Year.

This will allow me to make all outstanding orders, a boat load of donation items for a rescue event and then my own family and friends treats, oh and not forgetting our own hounds Christmas treats! Not much to do there then! 😂

He was the start of our journey of love with greyhounds (blame son no. 1!).

He was not without his faults, especially his SA and his amazing clear a house farty bum ( honest, for 7 months we lived in our dining room and everyone that visited us was issued a gas mask!) but he was the most amazing snuggle monster and was helped to settle when his best mate Lottie came to live with him a year later.

He was a most amazing foster hound carer helping lots of hounds into their forever homes. Gold medal for that! 🥇

Today is his birthday, he would have been 17. He will forever be the start of our love affair with greyhounds. Long may your legacy last BoBo! 💙💙💙

Hello 👋🏻 yes I’m still here and I’ve finally caught up with all orders. Yay!!! We get there in the end.

Here’s a few tasters below. 👇🏻

So, it’s now time to close the books for pre Christmas orders and the date will be 15/11. All orders before this date will be made before Christmas but any orders after that date will be made in the New Year.

Like you all I really need some time to finish orders and make treats for my family and friends so unfortunately after that date I will not be able to take new orders for before Christmas. 🎄🎄🎄

Anyway, hope you enjoy a few of the recent orders. Will be in touch soon as the fireworks have started again and the hounds are now back to square 1!!! 😢😡🥺

How you all doing everyone? Hope you’re not suffering from the explosions too much!

Really wish you’re doing better than us just now!

For past 3 nights we’ve had the girls Lulu, Betty and Minnie so stressed that we’ve had peed on beds, shaking so much we thought they’d collapse and hiding in their safe zone. Radio has been going all the time to drown out the noise of the explosions.
Sorry but they are not the pretty sweet fireworks but explosive chuffing nightmares. They frighten our animals, disabled folk and elderly relatives to bits. That’s not fun!

On top of that we’ve had our boy Brian so ill we were worried we’d lose him again. He’s had a flare up of his kidney issues.

Sorry a bit of a rant but this is so chuffing unacceptable to see people and animals suffer so much. It breaks my heart to see them all so distressed. 😔

Today would have been our Lottie poppets 12th birthday.

She was diagnosed with terminal kidney cancer just before her 9th birthday. She left a few days later. One of the hardest decisions to ever make. 😔

Although she had a rough start to life as a pupster she was well loved by us for the the 8yrs she lived with us and embraced life to the fullest.

We miss her deeply and always will….🩷

Our baby Lottie on her last happy holiday before she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. She loved the beach so much!

Can’t wait until back at the seaside again! Really need some major cobwebs 🕸️ blowing away!

A customer wanted something a little different. They chose some of my heavy duty ribbons and the gunmetal metalware. Look pretty good don’t you think? They were certainly very happy with them. 😌
