Evening all!

Well my hillock of fleece has turned into a mountain! 🏔️. Not complaining just saying..😂 I open the workroom door and swim my way to the sewing machines. 🤣🤣🤣

Anyway on a lighter note…what are they!…our lovely Lulu would like to let you know that in my spare time …really!🤣…that I’m making lovely treats for the GGGW on Sunday so please come and say hello! 🐾🐾

Morning everyone! It’s a bit of a breezy one up here on the Seven Hills!! 🌬️💨

I’m back in the laboratory (as the hubster likes to call it!) cutting and sewing 🧵 today but thought I’d share the next big event to happen.

I will be here for the walk with a little selection of treats for the houndies. Unfortunately no walking for me until I have my op (please let it be soon!) but I’ll be in the marquee with all the other stall and fundraisers.

It’s an amazing event and well worth the drive to join in on the day so grab your Sighthound/s and come and be part of an amazing and welcoming day out! Oh, and you please say hello 👋🏻 it’s lovely to put a face to a name! 🐾☺️🐾🐾

Great Global Greyhound Walk Countdown

So with 2 weeks to go until the big walk of the year around the UK we are getting all our final arrangements completed.

All stall holders are engaged and looking forward to seeing you all again in the Market Place

🪑- We have plenty of outside seating for people to use pre and post walk
🌭- Onsite food van for hot and cold drinks and food
🛍️- Indoor Market Place in the large white marquee
🦺- Plenty of Marshalls to make sure the walk runs smoothly
🚻 - Toilet facilities within Cannon Hall Farm for everyone to use
🎟️- Sighthound Social Club Raffle with lots of great prizes
🏵️- Rosettes for best 3 dressed hounds on the day
❤️- Theme is love so love hearts encouraged

Look forward to seeing you there, going to be great to see the Yorkshire Sighthound Paxk once again.

A big thank you to you all for your care after losing our lovely boy Brian.

They really break your heart when they go….💙

Anyway we’re getting back to normal and I’ve caught up with orders and now have a little hillock of fleece arrive that is now all washed and ready to cut for orders!

Really thought Brian would make it to his 13th birthday and have a last holiday but it was not to be.

Happy Sunday all!

I’ve been finishing a couple of orders this morning and sorting out my pattern folders (they’d got a bit messy!) 🙄. Anyway all done.

I know it’s not dog related but thought I’d show you one of the recent donation items.
This was a lovely lined/reversible tote bag for a local cat rescue for their auction page.

Pretty cute even though I do say so myself!

What!!! No more parcels to the US!! Minnie is not impressed. 😢

Well it’s happened, my few US 🇺🇸 buyers I’m really sorry but after the introduction of the new end of duty shipping it will no longer be viable for my US 🇺🇸 customers to purchase from me. The duty rates are eye watering and crushing for us small producers of lower cost items.

It’s very sad and has come on top of numerous other changes within the EU and Ireland relating to posting from the UK.

They don’t make it easy do they! Never mind onward and upwards to raising and donating that’s what I say. Donation revenue is still down but we keep going. Every penny goes towards helping a hound into a new home. 🏠🐕

Well I’m finally starting to chase the bugs away!!!
Still not 100% but getting there.🤧🤒

I’ve not done anymore ‘I feel sorry for myself’ fabric shopping even though I was tempted. 🤣

A few more orders completed and posted out and had the first of this seasons fleece orders come through. Some well organised folk among you. 😊

Happy Sunday all!

Yes I’ve been quiet but had a monster of a cold and it’s still got its claws in me after a week! 🤧🦠💊. Wish it’d do one and vanish….🤒

I also made the dreaded mistake of looking at some of my favourite fabric suppliers….fatal when you’re ill and feeling sorry for yourself.
My purse is now a fair few pennies lighter!!! 👛
